I just completed this stage, I absolutely love it! What an incredible feat of engineering. I'm so glad you're posting these videos, it helps us a tremendous amount You are the man, Wayne ! TY
This was a busy build day! If you get time, how about a forward head on view showing the torpedo tube hatches opening? Ha, ha, ha... I just looked up at the top of my screen. Utube's 'Suggested video' is the movie "Down Periscope"!
I was just rewatching this again, and I noticed something. I'm not seeing how the torpedos under the deck are acessed to load. I looked over the deck plate to see if it showed any indication of a hatch, but I'm not seeing one. Does the booklets say anything about this?
I know this video is old so I’m not sure if you will see this, but I’m wondering something about when you do pack 20 of titanic…I’m planning/thinking about testing the electronics (the sounds) once I assemble the remote by temporarily installing batteries into both the remote and the base, will you be doing this as well or no?
Horses for courses obviously, but it would drive me mad making it all up bear straight from the packs/sprues, without filling the seams and rubbing down, and airbrushing and weathering/chipping the parts, it would be so much more of a detailed model.
@@victorbloom8286 That was U-47. U-96's most famous skipper was Heinrich Lehmann-Willenbrock. This boat was the subject of Lothar-Günther Buchheims book Das Boot, and Wolfgang Petersens movie of the same name.
That is a very nice kit your working on.. its a fantasic kit I seen WORLD WAR II HISTORY FOOTAGE there are movies and TV SHOWS on WORLD WAR II. Then to report was how much of a bloody business WORLD WAR II really is on your kit I like to know how its going to turn on, too bad I cannot afford to do subscription based kits. the cost of production and the cost of the middle man moving things around 80% of the cost of the item you buy is paid to the middle man business the rest of the 20% is for the brand name that got its brand name on the item and the dealer that is why its so expensive every one wants there pay. they want there cut. then on top of that you pay fhr post office or what ever delivery service USA got USPS , FED EX, UPS and DHL what ever the dealer your buying from they will charge you shipping cost and international tax that is EXPORT TAX lets say I ordered from a dealership at ENGLAND I pay everything plus TAX to ENGLAND and then pay EXPORT TAX to ENGLAND then pay INPORT TAX to USA and repeat this every month my bank account cannot keep up I bounce the checking account that is not good. all kinds of fees its like getting busted my the local police and pay the justage system a insaneexpensive fine for that ticket that I violated the bank dose that too. any way that kit looks great very great GERMENY WORLD WAR HISTORY going on in there.
Glad your enjoying Wayne's build of the U-boat 96... But you really didn't need to write an essay on why or won't buy it...lolol 😂😂😂😂 I mean come on... really...😂

Hey Wayne, a bulkhead is a wall, the ceiling is the deck head, and the floor is the deck.
For obvious reasons I really enjoy your aquatic builds.
No Freudian slip when saying "deckhead" - I'm impressed😂
Yep...no AS5 better known as the ol' ASS Screws ! 😂👍
Threading length of cotton first through the anchor aperture would assist in pulling the anchor chain out. Hope this tip helps.
It is looking great, Wayne. See you next time.
Im getting pack 3 delivered tomorrow.
Great video

Great build 🍺💞🙏🐕💪
Ghost Wayne
Wow, this fish is armed to the teeth!
Yup, putting the tubes in the front of the sub isn't the easiest thing to do. Rather attache the body of the Delorean to the chassis LOL.
They didn't make it easy putting in tha anchor motor assembly, did they! 😉👍
That was easy compared to putting the torpedos tubes in
What is final cost? Their website is confusing and i never gat an answer to my inquires
All these models come on around 1500
Been a while since this upload... no further vids on this build?
Yep. The next one went up last week ruclips.net/video/jtn9fQgjfl4/видео.htmlsi=sbXUN9uzcAkJoHdp
@@WorldofWayneUK how odd. My playlist didn't update
Does this model have at least a removable side panel? Because nobody will ever see all those details inside if the panels are immovable.

No. I'm thinking there are so many torpedos scattered around all the tubes would be full
Hi Wayne is the Glue It in the bottle with the brush, a super glue? Or 'normal' plastic glue? Thanks. Enjoying this build!
It's a superglue

I may do. We have been checking the electrics throughout though so it would really be to test the remote works

A lot of peeps do go to that level of detail building these
Was that not Gunther Priens Boat ?

Not sure if it's just my display....but why is the deck purple?
It doesn't look purple
Ha... he said "in depth"...
Lol. I make puns without even knowing
