This model looks fantastic ! Nice job Wayne !👍 Just got my final issues of Delorean after starting it 4 years ago! No dust cover , no compendium of every isdue, no display base of case as I didn't start with Fanhome. I also just had a go with Fanhome over my Ecto-1 monthly deliveries being delayed 3 months on the trot, (3years on this build now) I've paused my subscription till Feb 2025 myself because I didnt want to be hit with a 3 or 4 monthly issues bill for over christmas! Anyone else having this problem with delayed ecto-1 issues??? I'm recently started Batmobile 1966 build! I'm hoping I can get back the love for partworks monthly builds because to be honest it's been a nightmare !! I'm holding off starting anymore builds till 2025! To cheer myself up I've bought A Mk3 Lancaster bomber revell kit to build ! My favourite Have a great weekend Sorry for the rant !! 🙏
it's interesting hearing you gush about those GodHands. I follow Gundam and 3D Printer Channels on the Socials and I am always seeing people lament about their GodHands tips breaking off. Now i'm always worried about it, so I think I'll stick with my cheap cutters for 1/3 the price.
Just a tip, after seating the part, especially if the hole is all the way through the adjoining part, apply the glue to the reverse face,so no glue leaks onto the visible face.
Yeah I use a pin too I recently bought some dirt cheap plastic tooth picks which were useless as tooth picks but great as a disposable super glue applicator.
I sure do enjoy this build! It looks like your building up the "Control Room" of the U-boat. This is going to be an awesome model, when complete! Thank you, Wayne. 🍻
I adopted Wayne's old glue tool, pin vise and sewing needle, when I started builds. Worked well for me, but I did sand the needle off before starting to remove glue bits. I will likely stick to it when I start again. Its simple and you still have the vise when you need one.
If you had a tiny camera on a flexible fibre optic tube you could do a tour of this model as if you were walking through it when it's finished. The details look fantastic on those bulkheads (walls to you land lubbers😂) The deck head is the ceiling by the way Wayne.
Hi Wayne there is a tool for applying a small drop of glue these are available in amazon, Ali express and temp also e bay, it’s called a despensing stick
Invaluable though they may be for those building along, and though you do your best, I’m sure I’m not alone in saying the videos with lots (and lots, and lots, and lots) of gluing fiddly bits aren’t always the most satisfying ones to watch!! 😅
I credit the point, but I counter with, I would rather see what I would be getting myself into before buying the series and discovering $1000 into it that its tedious as bleep and maybe not right for my low annoyance threshold.
@@MGower4465 Not gonna lie, the sheer number of fiddly little bits needing gluing def put me off trying this one - AND the Dambuster Lancaster. So yes, it’s true, Wayne provides a valuable service. 🫡
Hey Wayne does this episode remind you of something you've done before??? The pods for "Thunderbird 2"! What do you think? This sub is very detailed and it is coming together very nicely.
Hate to disagree with you about nippers Wayne, but Dspaie nippers are better, and flex-i-file do a super glue applicator,Flex-i-file 805 C/A applicator,(or snip the end off any large eye sewing needle, attached to a pin vice will do.

Not had that yet. I did break a pair by snipping through steel wire though. Doh

Hi Wayne you don’t need a brush on glue it goes everywhere but where you need it. Use the pin you know it makes sense😀

Good evening Wayne I use ALBION ALLOYS micro brushes 25 in pack from the scale model shop there very good for superglue application 👍👍👍

Needs some panel liner

Yep. I do try and rush through it. There's only so much applying glue you can show. Hence why I made the reference to jigsaw puzzles lol
Speaking as a submarine veteran, I am glued to the videos of the fiddly bits! I find myself trying to identify the parts! 😅
