I never thought a jazz style would suit this song so well given the original was in a very Eastern style and actually reminiscent of Okami's soundtrack (and rightly so given it was the same composer, might I add). It's kind of like putting pineapple on pizza; you wouldn't think it would turn out as well as it does for being such an unorthodox combination.

I really like how you have up to 5 minutes worth of playing despite how the song simply loops back on itself. Most other channels stop after a couple of minutes because it's the same thing, but you just keep going. You even continue to shake it up too. I like it.

+insaneintherainmusic It reminds me a lot of the sound and rhythm of bass from the original Gran Turismo 3/4 soundtracks that I listened to as a kid. For me that's always a good thing, it subtlety brought the rest of the instrumentation even more life.
I knew this theme would sound right at home with a little jazzy groove. The slower parts that build up in the middle (~2:15) work particularly well, and I love the energy all throughout, especially when the sax and piano melodies line up (like 4:15). Thanks for another great Fire Emblem cover to listen to, we don't get anywhere near enough love for songs other than "Together We Ride."

This arrangement definitely keeps things by taking the same one or two lines and just spicing them up and throwing other things between them. I love it. The solos are also perfect for this. Conquest is purposefully made harder by the lack of level grinding without DLC But Birthright is too bloody easy. Revelation is easier than conquest though but it hits you with surprises making you unable to plan beforehand Which is actually fun it doesn't mess around either first chapter is like a RTS fog of war thing
