We still need to give the manager time. We can't start thinking about jogging him on just yet. Will keep saying it. If we try to play like everyone else, today is what we will get. We cannot compete financially and will therefore be inferior to sides like Hull. We need to be unique like we were. Gambling on an unproven manager is for L1 and L2 sides. It rarely works. I hate this appointment and what we are trying to be.
So the fans have gone from Rowett out to saying we should have a manager like Rowett
He should never have gone in the first place. We probably had 3 of our highest positions in the history of our club under him. I didn't want Rowett or Jacket when they were appointed but they did really well for us, so I may be wrong here too. Just feels like we have decided to push a rock uphill with this new strategy.
I said it at the time when Gary Rowett departed. Big mistake. If he was still our mananger we would be mid-table at the very least. Get real he was a very good, organised manager. COYL
If you put a formula 1 driver in a Morris minor, he ain’t gonna win a single race. Edwards is being let down by to many of his players far to often. In the right vehicle he will take us forward. Give him the tools and he’ll do the job. I can’t believe we’re already giving him stick. We had become footballing dinosaurs. Joe needs at least a season to put that right. 🤫🤫🤫
What a load of crap.. we was 10th and 5pts behind the playoffs when he took over...Rowett was getting more out of these players..
@@salas..5686 Rowett never had success anywhere as a manager. He somehow got away with it down here by getting 11 men behind the ball and boring us all senseless. I’m so glad he’s gone now. Just can’t believe that after such a short time there are those who are slating Edwards. As I have already said, Under Rowett we had become footballing dinosaurs. It’s gonna take both time and backing from the club to put that right. I don’t ever want to witness the dross that Gary Rowett dished up ever again. Football is supposed to entertaining….. Under Rowett that just never happened.

The slow starts are a bit of a head scratcher because second half the players show what they can do.

The worry for me is we can’t seem to score more than one goal in a game most of the time . Need to start picking up results otherwise I can see pressure being put on the manger Coventry away Ipswich at home Sheffield at home and then Southampton would like to think we beat Sheffield at home but the others look like tuff games right now . How many more games can we afford to lose
I thought their goal should have been ruled out for hand ball. If it had been us who scored it would have been ruled out.

With all due respect to you lads for travelling up here...Millwall were slightly better than Rotherham at our place....Us, we seemed to be set for a hatful, then turned off the gas and just defended it. Second half was a non event. If Wall had got a leveller, it would have served us right. Good luck for the rest of the season.

I will try to support this manager as much as possible but it’s difficult when he keeps playing the wrong people. that will cost him his job. Players like,Flemming,Wallace and Harding are so bad I say it every week and people give them so much love. We need to also stop playing 5 at the back. it doesn’t work.
Flemmings our best player. His current form is poor, but doesn’t change the fact he has more ability than anyone else on the pitch
I think he's shuffling players around appropriating or finding the right players in the right positioning at moment through loss of injuries and has tried new signings to bolster us but it won't happen all at once. But I agree it's frustrating when it doesn't come off. Our possession is better. But our main strike force have no penetration. We are still reliant on cooper and savile banging them in. We've got the players to turn it around still.
Harding mistakes again, costing us he has been at fault a few times now, don’t think Edwards will last much longer personally unless a miracle happens
So we know our players can play - as shown second half. But these endless periods of slow starts and dire play must be happening for a reason. Looks like we are slowly drifting to Division 1…
Calm down pal, you'll give your self a heart attack. If your lads kept on their feet instead of falling down all the time trying to win free kicks you'd be a decent side. But today, for the first 25 minutes Millwall didn't know what had hit them and Hull should have been three up. But credit for making a go of it in the second half. Your not the worst side to come to Hull this season.
This was a nil nil game but see how lucky you have to be to win? A great shot off the bar, straight to one of theirs into an empty net. It’s one of those things.

QPR are up our arses now. It's squeaky bum time already. Coventry will be just as tough. Too much procrastination at the back and giving the ball away unnecessarily. We need a prolific goal scorer and leadership. Its not over yet. A redeemer is much needed though.
Have been watching football for over 60 years and do not get understand why playing out from the back is seen as a good tactic. it is far moreso dangerous

I think we need a flat back four and a anchor man. I'd rather these passing touches are middle of the field. I've been disappointed with nisbet and flemming tbh. I'd rather have Coffy or emakhu up front with enthusiasm. Our midfield wingers has DEFLATED since Romeo's departure imho. We've never really recovered since Jed Wallace left either. We lack something that just doesn't seem to have been fixed.

@@realfansnofilter3839 well, Flemming is our top goal scorer with wait for it , drum roll 🥁 : 6 goals and Bradshaw 4 goals . we don't even get in the top 24 players with the top being 16 from Plymouth with Morgan. They might not be prolific and on par with haaland etc but its vastly better than us.

First of all, their goal early doors was off a rebound (great strike) and i ain't seen or heard anyone mention Sarkic's slow reaction getting off the ground, very poor. It ain't like the ball dropped back out into the six yard box !
Harding made an error but since he came into the side down at Plymouth he's been steady enough, for me anyway.
Wallace shouldn't have started today, Bryan and Honeyman are more complete players, whether you like them or not.
Flemming has been atrocious, I don't care what anyone says. He's scored the odd goal but moves like he's towing a caravan - should've scored that fu&£ing chip today too !
Obafemi is lazy, called it up there at half-time and wasn't surprised that he was subsequently dragged by Edwards.
First half we were playing like it was a pre-season friendly, embarrassing. Second half too little, too late.
Hull are decent but we made them look like a top notch side !

You can blame managers sure you can but at the end of the day the players have a responsibility to go out and perform. I was hoping that this year after the chairmans tragic death they would do just that and go out and perform in his memory but for whatever the reason they are not doing that. I don't know what the reason is, it maybe just a mind thing going on or the blend isn't right or something, but l believe that the players in the squad are decent enough and that in my opinion is something that the manager needs to address and hopefully he will and soon.
