I would just like to point out, Luffy has fought and lost to Kaido multiple times before awakening his devil fruit. That takes a lot out of someone, especially with how crazy the fight was. So I don't really know how much of gear 5's "after effects" are really due to the awakening versus Luffy just being tired from the fight. Even looking at the most recent chapters he recovered from using gear 5 rather quickly and was mostly tired from running around the island. Anyways ignore my side rambling lol great video

I think Red Hawk works by combining Gear 2 and Armament. His body resists stretching while armament is active, so by fully extending his arm and THEN activating armament, the force caused by his arm forcibly returning (the incredible friction) combined with his already superheated body from Gear 2, creates enough heat to ignite his fist, and since the armament is active it doesn't hurt him
i mean he kinda did red hawk UNDERWATER like it kinda feels like it has something to do with his human human model nika fruit and even if you say that he hasnt awakened his fruit at the time of using it, he might have just used it without realizing like his conquerers haki that he didnt even know he had but used it anyways at marineford and amazon lily without realizing
I love Luffy's journey from the start to the present. Wether is reading the manga (1074 Chapters) or watching the anime (1051 Episodes), it's been a fun ride from seeing the little boy from Windmill Village become a great pirate in the New World.

One of the few things that I can’t seem to find anybody mentioning is that Buggy had the audacity to damage Luffy’s hat. Being a member of the Roger pirates, he would know the history of the hat, not just that it belonged to Shanks and he was holding a grudge. Buggy never cowered from fighting the Whitebeard pirates before, even as a chore boy/apprentice on Roger’s ship. And well, he survived those battles. Buggy’s “Live it up” style mindset is awfully common to Luffy’s party mindset, and even more so if you believe the “Throw a world size party” being Luffy’s dream theory. I don’t know exactly what it means, but Buggy has something going on other than just “accidental” status. Your videos are normally well done, so I’d like to hear your thoughts on this.

I know it's filler, but it is I think the first look at Red hawk coming out. Luffy had to create the heat of be melted. I do agree. the thing that i like on luffy's chraacter and personality is that he learn through his mistakes and because of this he grow much stronger than anyone he face with. Wow, you missed the part where Merry Go saved Luffy and his crew, Luffy again asked Iceburg to fix the ship, knowing that the ship is damaged, he pretty much know that the ship IS part of his crew. But realizing that the ship is badly damaged and there's nothing that can fix it, he realize he himself needed to send off his one crew, his ship. At that moment, Luffy realizes how much Merry Go has done to him and his crew.

on the superpower wiki, the 5 elders quote about luffys fruit is present on (to my knowledge) 2 pages: "Freedom" (maning a lack of limitations, even from the laws of physics) and "ultimate power" (meaning limitless potential). gear 5 is also quoted in "zenith form" (meaning to reach the highest possible degree of power in a set of transformation (like ultra instinct for goku)) and "True power" (defying logic)
Luffy’s awakening is just rubberhose physics. He’s not omnipotent. He does have limitless creativity because he can use his powers in creative ways and it definitely defies the laws of physics but so do all devil fruits anyway.
This was a great video and a great refreshment on luffy’s journey. But I do have a point to address, you did forget about SNAKEMAN which is one of the major power ups Luffy had in the series just wanted to point that out😅. Other than that great video 👌
