I still like the performances where LaBrie doesn't force his voice to ridiculous highs he can't reach anymore. His sweet whisper voice is still there and doing fine.
I love how loud and clear petruccis guitar is. Reminds me of dimebag pantera days. He was turned up so much, I loved it. Nothing worse than a guitar solo that just sounds like background noise because it gets lost in everything else.
@@gabziu3161 Frankly, Dream Theater is one of my favorite bands of all time. I saw them live for the first time back in the ’90s, and I still love their music. However, James LaBrie’s vocals have declined. While this concert was amazing, it could have been even better. I understand that he suffered from food poisoning, which affected his voice, but they might need to consider either adjusting the tuning or finding a new vocalist.
@@aksonplusexplorerIf the rest of the band is still in peak performance level, they have no reason to retire. But yeah, James has been rough for years now.

I really wouldn't be against them getting a 2nd singer to just hit the high notes at this point

Man, James can’t even keep pitch in low register. Is he drunk? He totally slaughters this song.
Kkkkk complicado
Probably the first time JP totally killed it again since Budokan
I missed those harmonies
Whats about the voice james LaBrie???😵💫😵💫
I cry every time...the solo...
I cry also when LaBrie sings
It sucks 😂
Labrie sounds like even in a moderate range he is struggling or suffering. This song is beautiful but he is close to ruining it…
They should finally get a new singer

This is the original version from 1996 (demo)
LaBrie actually sounds pretty good here. He sounds just like in 2003!
It seems your hearing might not be as sharp as it was back in 2003.
@@heteroyngwielover Well not exactly like 2003 because of course he is a lot older but you can hear his old voice in the lower-register parts

@@heteroyngwielover autotuning him has worked decently in the past
He sounds horrible
Holy crap, who hired this singer? That sas worse than weekend karaoke after 10 beers.
He's just been the band's singer for like 35 years
I also think he's been shit for the last 15 years but they don't seem to care
@@riccardozamprogno5824 they just cant replace him, because the voice of band is your soul.
@@aksonplusexplorer i understand what you say
But come on, it's not acceptable anymore
@@riccardozamprogno5824 honestly i preffer they retire all and disband instead replace someone, they are old..

2:00 When you put a chromatic scale in a solo and still sounds good.
