Thanks for sharing this video, after I watched this video so I can determine which brand I should get. Wishing you & your family happiness and healthy🥰
Thanks! I've decided to go with the Samsung oven because I once had and old Samsung flip phone that still works to this day. It had been dropped in water and dropped on concrete many times and kept on working. So far, my oven has been reliable as well.
Great comment! That happens to me all the time. There are two clear off buttons. You have to hit both. If that does not work it needs repaired by a tech.
Thank you for the video, currently have conventional oven and builder is giving a credit for us to replace it after several failed attempts to fix an unknown issue. I've always cooked with conventional oven and like to think of myself as a decent cook. Our local Lowe's has this model, Samsung True Convection Oven (European Convection) and then Samsung Convection Oven (American Convection) difference being the True Convection has a burner behind the fan in the back. Now for the question, how is the noise level while cooking with this True Convection oven? We have open Floorplan house, i wasn't sure if while trying to watch TV would we hear annoying fan sound while oven was in use either with Convection setting on and/or normal bake setting. Just trying to make right decision and I don't know if there would be a noise level difference between the True Convection, Convection, and Conventional ovens. Thank you foe your input.
I'm glad you brought this up - I wouldn't have even thought to check for that!. If Samsung said that you can't use it for canning I would take their advice. You may want to go with a gas stove. A stainless steel canner with a flat bottom might work but It's critical that the cans are properly sealed. Perhaps an electric stove prevents even heating. Also you would not want the stovetop to become damaged.
You manually turn it off with the dial that stops the electric current but they stay hot for a while. The red light is telling you it is hot. Once it cools the red light should go away. I hope that helps.
Does your oven door get really hot around the handle when you have the oven on? We just bought one and it gets really hot. We're wonder if it's normal or a manufacturing defect.
Hit the off clear button 2 times to make sure the beep is working. Then set the timer and you should hear a beep when done. If not try unplugging it from the wall and plug it back in. If that does not work it may be a weird setting or a problem with the beeper / circuit and I've have a repair tech check it out.
I have the same range +oven. When I press convection bake start. It will start warming up after a couple of minutes will show error C-d0. Also used the oven another time and I couldn’t turn oven off with start/ clear. Let me know what could e wrong. :)
The Samsung oven is one of the most reliable ovens in my opinion. I used to sell semiconductors to electrical engineers and Samsung was a name I could always trust with my clients. Every component has been flawless so far.
I see a new one on Craigslist that I want to buy. The guy had a change of heart. I checked reviews and some seem pretty bad. Oven coating peeling at the bottom, circuit panels failing back to back for some, oven heat being off by up to 60 degrees. Are these just one off problems. Seems like everyone here has one and loves theirs. Confused. This is based off Home Depot reviews.
I lost power a few days ago and quickly restored it. After we tried to program the clock and it would not work. The only thing that seemed to work was the range and off and on buttons. We finally were able to set the clock but now the oven is not working at all. It will not heat and there is a message that looks like it says LE. Do you know what that means? or what I can do to get the oven working again? I disconnected it from the back and reconnected it, but still, no heat. Do you have any suggestions?
It sounds like you may have had damage to the circuit board. That may not be covered under warranty but I'd still call them first. Power surges often result in circuit board damage even wire damage but your stove itself is fine. I would get an electric meter (they are inexpensive) and start researching how to diagnose electrical issues in a stove. Just be careful and consider hiring a repair person on this one because 220 volts is something to take very serious. Please let me know how it turns out. I'm curious since power surges can cause random and intermittent damage.
We moved into a house with this stove/oven, and it only turns on when we turn on one of the stove dials. It also doesn’t create any heat anywhere. The guy said it was working just a week ago, are we just dumb or is there a problem?
It sounds like your electric panel may need replaced. None of that is normal. I would run some tests with an electric meter just to find the problem or have a repair tech come troubleshoot it.
Thanks for this!! I couldn't decide on which new range to get, but this video made my decision easy (loved the closeup on the controls, too). [I'm getting the NE63A6511SS model, which is very similar].
Hope you enjoy it! I love this stove so far. Just remember to cook on lower heat with the burners when possible. Once the burners get hot they stay hot for a while. I've burnt a few foods being impatient and then had a lot of cleaning to do as a result.
Hi Ray, Thanks for posting this review. Very nice. We purchased the ne59m4310ss model. Does this oven take a 3 or 4 pronged pigtail (powercord)? Or can it take either one? Thanks!
lol. I watched a few educational videos on how to make RUclips videos better. They said the key is to just be yourself. It's hard to do actually but I'm slowly getting better at it.
We have this exact same range. Works great but had small problem.Since we fixed it we have a part that don't know where it goes.We need to see underneath the glass top where the insulstion is.
I would search RUclips for somebody repairing Samsung burners. Other models more than likely use the same part. I take ovens apart all the time when I do scrap metal, and many parts are the same regardless of make and model.
I received a new one and all those wiring seems to be already done. There's only a black cord I can plug in. Can I just plug it in without opening up the board?
Thank you for the great review. I am looking at buying this range, but the only bad review I have read on line is the glass top has cracked or chipped. Have you or anyone else experience this?
I have not had any trouble with the glass top on the Samsung range cracking or breaking. However, it is hard to clean the glass top. I am used to a gas burner so there is a learning curve. The important thing is to never let anything boil over.
I had something boil over and I used a scratch less scrub cloth and it worked. I will use soft scrub and a razor blade for stuck on debris. If you hold the razor blade at an angle it will not scratch the glass. I have had no problems with chipping or cracking either. Great product.
I bought an electric meter and run tests when appliances do that. Often the capacitors get fried. There is a risk of shock when testing so that's why conventional wisdom is to call an expert at that point. There are classes that teach how to safely repair appliances. I took a few of those courses and have saved more money than you can imagine because the parts are often not very expensive. With that said safety is more important than anything else.
Hi Ray! I have the same exact stove! I have had it for about 3 years no problems but today my stove top shattered I am not able to find the exact stove top for this model. I was wondering if you could help me. I would really appreciate it!

Thank you for this video. Can you tell me how to turn off or turn down the beeping that goes off when the oven is preheated? My pets are freaking out 🙁
Does yours get stuck when preheating at 175 and double clicks alot? I set to like 425 and oven right off the bat says it's already 175 but stays like that for about 5 minutes then finally heats above 175 but double clicks alot? Also does yours say 175 right off the bat after setting temperature and oven turns on?
I have the variant that has a divider so you can have two ovens. it gets so nasty and the oven won't clean with it in there. How would I ever clean that thing? You would think they would make it easier to clean that.
Hello Sir I just got mine delivered early today I wasn't home apparently the people who delivered it also made the installation but the panel doesn't light at all, I can not use the neither of the functions in the panel, do you have an idea why? Or what might be wrong?
If the oven works but the panel does not light it is defective and in need of repair. I would ask for a refund or a new stove. If that is not an option I would call Samsung and see what they can do. The worst case scenario would be to hire a repair tech to replace whatever component is bad inside the panel. I hope it all works out. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you.
There are 2 self cleaning modes. The one with water / steam does not work very well. The other one gets extremely hot and turns any food to ash. Just press the self clean button and wait until it's done. It's amazing how well it works.
I looked at my oven and did not see a way to change it to Celsius. There may be a way of doing it. However I think maybe you could print out a chart with common cooking conversions. For instance a common cooking temperature is 350 F. Which is about 176 C. I hope that helps a little.
Thanks! I love it so far. The only down side is it's hard to clean spills on the glass burners so I try to cook with lower heat and keep my eye on preventing over boiling.
I have the same stove and everything that I cooked in the stove when it was brand new im still just trying to figure out how could anything waste or spill over when I had everything on a pan can does anyone else have this problem
Thanks for the video, it was really helpful. I’m in the market shopping for smooth too electric range and at my local Lowes there is two models in stock, which is this very Samsung and a Frigidaire GCRE302LAF which is about 70 dollars more. Do you know that model and if so which one would be the better pick?
I've heard really bad things about Frigidaire. I can't say I ever had a problem personally with their products because I have one of their air conditioners and it works great. Samsung however, has some of the best semiconductors in terms of reliability. Thus, their products tend to be more reliable since everything uses circuit boards today.
You may want to hire an electrician. Either something is wrong with the wiring, voltage or it's an oven error. You also could reset the error. Read this first : www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001948/
The burners can heat up a small pot circumference underneath the pot or a large pot circumference underneath a larger pot. This is because you only want heat directly underneath the specific pot you are using.
My Samsung oven has been working well so far, but BEWARE …don’t wipe the “number dial area” too hard or use a scrub pad. The numbers will easily come off. I don’t know why the manufacturer doesn’t make the numbers more durable.
thank you so much for this review.. I was looking at ordering this one (wanted to hook it up myself).... I think I will end up like your wife "I made a pie".. lol
So sorry I missed you comment earlier. The inside of this Samsung stove measures 20 and a quarter inches tall by 2 foot one inch wide an easier way to say it is (20 and 1/4 inches tall by 25 inches wide).
Due to the glass surface its easy to clean when cold. If you spill while cooking the spills get cooked into the glass like glue and is nearly impossible to get off without special cleaning supplies and pads that wont damage the glass / ceramic mixed top. I'm at the point where I don't worry about it and use the special cleaners and brute strength to clean it. It's good exercise but your way better off to avoid spills and cook at lower heat.
I'm guessing it's your thermostat switch but read this link and follow their steps. It explains everything so you can self diagnose the issuehomeguides.sfgate.com/fix-problems-burners-electric-stove-102934.html
Here is the part number that I suspect may be your problem but do a test on it before buying anything. (Element Control Switch part number DG44-01002A) The burner is a coil. The coil gets hot when electricity passes through it. The amount of electricity is controlled with a burner control switch. You could try testing it with a multimeter. Make sure the stove is unplugged from the wall. Then, do an ohms test (resistance test) on your switch. It is usually between zero and 20. If that is not the problem it could be a bad burner coil or a loose wire between the 2. You could also hire a stove repair expert if you can't find the problem. Here is more info on your problem: homeguides.sfgate.com/electric-range-burner-temperature-control-troubleshooting-20597.html
Thaks for the video...our landlord just replaced our old stove with this szme model and i have some specific questions about how to use the convection oven...do you..or any one herd...have a contact email or something i can use to ask tgese questions? Thanks kindly
@@RayStein thank you very much for your response. I am slowly figuring out how to use the convection oven and I must say that I am quite impressed. My attention is now turning to some concerns people have raised about the self-cleaning element of the stove. I'm getting some people telling me that the self-cleaning should not be used when animals are around because the odours can be toxic to them. Have you heard of any such thing? It seems a bit odd to me The other question is more related to the actual elements ....I've noticed that they appear to pulsate a bit, meaning they glow red then die down to nothing then come back on to all red. Is that just part of the heating process? Is it something I should be concerned about or just normal for this type of stove. Thanks again for your answering my question and I look forward to hearing from you!
Three digit code what are you talking about where would I find a three digit code and what is it supposed to do you’re going a little fast and you’re assuming this is the easiest things that sliced bread literally it’s not I’m 70 help me out here
It's been a long time and I'm getting up there in age as well so my memory may be off but I experimented with the buttons to get the hang of it. There is a digital clock on the front. I tried out the buttons and kept my eye on the display clock area. When you press buttons it tells you what is going on. They also have an instruction manual for free online that is helpful.
My cat's nick name has that same sound his full name is Burrito. He is an extremely funny cat who has a sense of humor. He plays jokes on me and my dog all the time. lol
I hit the bake button type 350 and hit start. If that does not work double check your fuse box and make sure the breaker is not tripped and double check that the plug is all the way in the wall. If none of that works the oven may be defective. I hope that helps.
I would first check to see if the plug came loose from the wall. I would then check to see if the fuse in the basement / garage is on. If that didn't work I'd get a meter and test the wall outlet. Last, I'd check the plug connection on the stove. If none of that works the stove itself would need repaired. They have great videos on RUclips on how to troubleshoot them.
katie cueto you can use conventional cookware. But if you want to fully take advantage of the convection feature you should drill holes in all of your pans.
I'm SO glad the kitty is getting a new box! Most important thing about this video!!
So true! lol
I bought the exact same range in December 2017, and it's perfectly working well, no complain so far👍
Thanks! So far so good for me as well.
I just purchased the same range today, pick up Saturday...

@@codysturcken6937 no its not.
thanks so much... I was having the worst time getting the strain relief clamp on.... you were the only video that showed to remove the plate at the base.... really appreciate you!!!!
Glad I could help! I struggled with that for a long time. I spent more time on that clamp than the entire install of the Samsung oven.
I just bought it and am awaiting delivery. Very excited. Just bought a Samsung dishwasher and really like it, too.

Thanks for the great video ! How do you clean the stove top after cooking ? Any recommendations of cleaning sprays /what cloth you use ?
I use mostly water with a dab of dish soap. I let it soak for 10 minutes and then use a sponge or paper towel to wipe it off. The key is letting it soak after each round on cleaning. I try to avoid abrasive pads because they scratch the stove.
I bought a house with this very stove already present and I love it so much. It is the nicest cooking stove I have ever had. I was use to the gas stove/oven, which I loved, but this is by far my favorite. I would definitely recommend this product.

Please do a video showing how to use this appliance. I have it and find it very challenging and I have always owned electric stoves.
Great suggestion! Thanks!
okay this review is excellent, you and your wife are adorable

So for the oven steam clean do you just put water in the bottom of it or what?

That's a great price! I paid much more.
400? Where
Do you reduce your temperature 25 degrees while following a recipe using convection or does the stove know to do that internally?
No. I probably should though. I noticed I have to take things out a little bit early.
I am really convinced to use this kind of stove one day instead of gas range oven.
Sometimes I miss my gas stove but my wife prefers electric so I bought her the best electric range I could afford.
Thanks so much this was a complete great explanation!
You're very welcome!

Does this oven take a 3 or 4 pronged pigtail (powercord)? Or can it take either one?

It can take either one. Your wall socket determines which one you choose.
Rafiq Baksh any oven can take both or it can be hardwired. If you use 4-prong make sure you disconnect the jumper from neutral to the stove frame.

If you press the "clear off" button 3 times it should turn off. If not I would unplug it from the wall and try again. Best of luck.
Do u notice how hot the top gets when baking? Any tips to prevent?
It gets real hot. I try to cook at lower temperatures and leaves the pot on the burner until things cool down a bit.
I bought it..just wonder if its fan work after when you turn off...i just found after turn off still heating long time...can you help me
The fan should go off as soon as you turn it off.
Thanks for the information i have the same stove but i don t know how to turn the upper level on .pls help .
Just turn the burner dial of your choice clockwise or counter clockwise.
Did you figure out how to reduce the brightness of the clock? Please share
I've never tried it because i like the default settings the best.
Thank you for the video, can i use this as 120 volts?
My model is 220 volts. They do make 120 volt models. Just search for 120 volt stoves.
Thanks Ray
how does the self cleaning work? Do you add water inside the oven??
There are 2 self cleaning modes. The one with water / steam does not work very well. The other one gets extremely hot and turns any food to ash. Just press the self clean button and wait until it's done. It's amazing how well it works.
Hello,
I bought the same range but i don't find how to change temp unit to celsius. how i can do it ?
I looked at my oven and did not see a way to change it to Celsius. There may be a way of doing it. However I think maybe you could print out a chart with common cooking conversions. For instance a common cooking temperature is 350 F. Which is about 176 C. I hope that helps a little.
Thanks for the information. I'm thinking about buying this exact model.
Thanks! I love it so far. The only down side is it's hard to clean spills on the glass burners so I try to cook with lower heat and keep my eye on preventing over boiling.
just one question, can you make a pie in it?
lol
I have the same stove and everything that I cooked in the stove when it was brand new im still just trying to figure out how could anything waste or spill over when I had everything on a pan can does anyone else have this problem
I have the same issue. Once it gets hot it stays hot. I found that cooking on lower heat is the way to get around it.
How long to boil water with the double element.
It takes a lot longer than gas to boil water on this stove. I'd say it takes 10 minutes or so.
Ray Stein thanks man! I really appreciate it.
Mines will be here tomorrow!
Nice! You wont be disappointed. It's a great stove.
MSNOLLY1 just got mine today
I just bought this stove hook it up just like the video in it says bad line do you know what this mean?
You may want to hire an electrician. Either something is wrong with the wiring, voltage or it's an oven error. You also could reset the error. Read this first : www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001948/
Nice review. We are buying one today at home depo. Fyi i noticed the roaches moving on the floor Lol
lol. Yeah it's an outdoor porch. I didn't see that. How funny.
I want to know the price
I paid around $800 but the price fluctuates. One person told me they found it on sale.
Cool 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks.
WHEN I WANT TO BAKE BUT NOT SART THE CONVECTION FEATURE , IS IT NORMAL FOR THE CONVECTION FAN TO START AND STOP AS I BAKE
Yes. My oven does the same thing.
Can you show me how to increase the oven heat
The only way I know how to do that is to stop it and type in the new temperature and hit start again.
got this for my wife 31st anniversary.
Nice! Congratulations!
What are the double rings for near the knobs for front burners?
The burners can heat up a small pot circumference underneath the pot or a large pot circumference underneath a larger pot. This is because you only want heat directly underneath the specific pot you are using.
My Samsung oven has been working well so far, but BEWARE …don’t wipe the “number dial area” too hard or use a scrub pad. The numbers will easily come off. I don’t know why the manufacturer doesn’t make the numbers more durable.
Thanks for the tip. I'll be careful whenever I clean the Samsung oven.
You didn't explain what is considered to be the air fry option. But I'm going to ASSUME the bake button with the fan symbol next to it.
I never tried the air fry feature on the oven. Thanks for pointing that out. I will have to try it out.
how you preheat i got one ??
Dial in the temperature and press the bake button. It beeps when preheating is complete.
Awesome video. I made a pie. Lol
Nice!!
thank you so much for this review.. I was looking at ordering this one (wanted to hook it up myself).... I think I will end up like your wife "I made a pie".. lol
Glad I could help! Thanks!
good morning, could you tell me the internal measurements of the oven?
So sorry I missed you comment earlier.
The inside of this Samsung stove measures 20 and a quarter inches tall by 2 foot one inch wide an easier way to say it is
(20 and 1/4 inches tall by 25 inches wide).
Why is the the burner top hard to clean?
Due to the glass surface its easy to clean when cold. If you spill while cooking the spills get cooked into the glass like glue and is nearly impossible to get off without special cleaning supplies and pads that wont damage the glass / ceramic mixed top. I'm at the point where I don't worry about it and use the special cleaners and brute strength to clean it. It's good exercise but your way better off to avoid spills and cook at lower heat.
@@RayStein what special cleaning supplies would you recommend? & great review!
How do u do child lock ? That lock button only lock the panel
I think they sell child locks separate at hardware stores or perhaps a store like Walmart.
What color is the clock .. blue or white?
The Samsung stove clock is blue.
How do i turn on the oven from below only
Can you please show as how the buttenes of the oven works?
I press the bake button. I like to use the convection bake button with a fan on it. Then enter the temperature. The timer is optional.
Great video 👍
Thanks 👍
can i use upper level separate
Yes.
Our front left burner is always on high heat even on lower dial. Could it be the regulator? 😟
How many current the stove drawns ?
It uses 40 Amps, 240/208 Volts, 3000 watt front burners, 1200 watt rear burners
Thaks for the video...our landlord just replaced our old stove with this szme model and i have some specific questions about how to use the convection oven...do you..or any one herd...have a contact email or something i can use to ask tgese questions? Thanks kindly
I'd be happy to answer any questions right here on RUclips. My goal is to help others that may have the same questions.
It seems a bit odd to me
The other question is more related to the actual elements ....I've noticed that they appear to pulsate a bit, meaning they glow red then die down to nothing then come back on to all red.
Mine smokes really bad it’s like it has no ventilation
I would have somebody take a look at it. A second set of eyes never hurts.
Is your cays name Breda? That is my mom's name who I am watching this video with.
My cat's nick name has that same sound his full name is Burrito. He is an extremely funny cat who has a sense of humor. He plays jokes on me and my dog all the time. lol
How do you use the middle stove?
You can move the oven racks to the middle or use the middle burner with the warming center on off button.
I can’t turn the oven on. I know that sounds stupid but how do I do that
I hit the bake button type 350 and hit start. If that does not work double check your fuse box and make sure the breaker is not tripped and double check that the plug is all the way in the wall. If none of that works the oven may be defective. I hope that helps.
It was my plug thank you so much for responding
@@carlosmurray6483 I was wondering how it went. I'm glad you fixed it. Best of Luck!
why does my samsung range have the letter K in the top left hand corner next to the burner
This is all I could find. Euro-Kera is one of the top cooktop manufacturers in the world. The K is their logo.
My light won't turn on for mine. Idk whats wrong with it
I would first check to see if the plug came loose from the wall. I would then check to see if the fuse in the basement / garage is on. If that didn't work I'd get a meter and test the wall outlet. Last, I'd check the plug connection on the stove. If none of that works the stove itself would need repaired. They have great videos on RUclips on how to troubleshoot them.
what is the name for the cord
range appliance cord - check the prongs before buying one and compare it to your wall female plug - these are usually 220 volts
How to set the time
I press the "clock" button and enter the time.
What is the actual size of the door handle?
28.25 inches long by 1.25 inches.wide
@@RayStein we just bought the same one, but fan works for bake and for convert mode, can I turn it off for a bake?
do you need special cookware? convection cookware?
katie cueto you can use conventional cookware. But if you want to fully take advantage of the convection feature you should drill holes in all of your pans.
I use stainless steel with no copper bottoms. My burners melted the copper off of my pan. Non stick pans work too.
are you in the US?
Yes
