From his first shift playing on the hawks I knew the guy had grit and a ton of heart. I was crushed when he was traded. I really miss him, but I'm glad he's getting the respect he deserves on the flyers.
I was at the game when he delivered that huge hit on Dahlin, the atmosphere was unbelievable. As a flyers fan I enjoy watching Hartman and have grown to cheer for him. Great Guy! Welcome to Philadelphia Ryan.
I think Hartman is a great add for them, has produced more for philly than simmonds has for Nashville playing a similar role. I want to see them resign him, he could play a 3rd or 4th line role.
Wasn't too sure about this trade at the time , but this guy fits really well with our team. He has been a solid contributor to our efforts to get to the playoffs. @Philadelphia Flyers........thanks, love the behind the scenes videos you make for your fans. This fan of 47 years appreciates stuff like this. Welcome to Philadelphia Ryan Hartman
I’m a fan. I really like the idea of Hartman, Laughton, Raffl, Aube-Kubel (hopefully) etc., being a part of the bottom six for atleast the next few years. Hartman can definitely chip in around 15-18 goals a season- if he gets third line minutes. I’d also like to see him get some PK time. I think he and Laughton could thrive as a duo.
As a life long Flyers fan. I want the Flyers organization to know that I will NEVER watch another game for as long as I live. They are dead to me. #KateSmith
The Flyers should resign Hartman, but let Raffl, Neuvirth, Elliot and even Cam Talbot walk. I'd also like to see Hartman play just a little dirty. You know, if you put your elbow up while making a hit on an opposing player and knock the guy out, it really isn't such a bad thing.
Raffl took a pay cut of 800k to 1.6 for two years, he’s a great bottom 6 guy who brings a ton to the table why would you let him walk. He’s loyal to us, smart on the ice and can play on a line with anyone in the bottom 9 without hurting play styles awful idea
@@brandonwilley4689 Lookie here, son, I don't give a DAMN about Raffl's "loyalty", the fact of the matter is he's been here for five years through the inconsistent Giroux period. He's a "king below"-type guy and can find those guys everywhere. I would advocate the Flyers trade Giroux and Voracek, but you probably couldn't find a team stupid enough to take their respective contracts.
The bottom line, son, is this -- I want to send a message to everyone on the team that the era of complacency in the face of inconsistency is over. Not resigning Raffl would have sent the message that, while loyal, he's been on the team for over 5 seasons and the frigging team has done very little during that time.

agree 100%. add him into that 3rd line role. Flyers need guys who are willing to have a role, this is a perfect fit.
I only ave one thing to say...
Welcome to Philadelphia

So far the flyers won this trade in my opinion probably won’t last long

Flyers are now a social justice team, goodbye to the team I've watched for 45 years! What a shame...
Elliott is my favorite player

Raffl already got resigned.

@@brandonwilley4689 agreed. Great 2 way, responsible bottom 6er. Perfect 4th liner who can move up the lineup.

Didn't Hartman's great grandfather say something racist? Better kick him off the team.
