I have that doll the cute blonde one, her name is Tina my auntie gave that to me on my 4th birthday. She is the real owner and my Lola(grandma) sew dresses kept that doll and put in the living room.
My father worked at Margon Doll Co., in New Jersey - they made the dolls eyes that open and close. When I was in high school in the late 60s, I had a summer job @ Eastern Doll Co., back when SOHO was still a manufacturing center for Manhattan. My job was packing the doll heads into boxes. A bit creepy with the eyes opening & closing =:0. It was a filthy sweat shop - well over 100 degrees on the 3rd floor in the summer. I was making $1.07 / hr. FYI, there's a scene in Woody Allen's movie Manhattan where they walk by the Eastern Doll building...
Strange to think most of the people in this video are likely gone, but some of the dolls live on..... 2:42 bad dub job, we hear the string pull before the person can pull it...
I have that Doctor Doolittle doll from Mattel in the original open front box (never been removed), with Polynesia the parrot on his arm. Polynesia is made of green pipe cleaner, but is missing some feathers. I don’t dare pull the string in the back of Rex for fear I might break it. ❤

Yes, that's because there's an agenda to wipe out the memory of racial equality in the 60's. No, it wasn't perfect, but there were great strides made. I use to collect little dolls with traditional dress from all over the world that was in thy mid 70's.
I have a black doll from the 60's, my mother bought it from outside the country. It's a great doll, we call it Susanna. Too bad my niece pulled some of her hair out. But it's still in good condition.
How a real doe eyed porclean skinned doll is made: breastmilk for the first 2 years of its life, organic food, fresh clean air and voila your son looks like Paul Dano and your daughter looks like Eliza Scanlen!!!
0:12 : "I'm so terribly sorry, Sir... They escaped their containment unit and murdered the guard..."
I burst out laughing, thanks
This type of doll is the one I have been wanting since childhood, so cute
I've ALWAYS Loved Dolls!!! One of these days I'm going to do some toy making myself! :-) Thank you for posting!

Which one? What minute?

Same but mine had a longer blonde hair. My lola also made dresses for it but sadly my cousins broke my dolls and it had to be thrown. 😢
What's that doll called?
Is she Talking Tina?
Very interesting process! I absolutely love these types of dolls! It’s a shame they’re not like this anymore.
I love the doll @2:26. I’ve never seen one like her before.
That's a Cheerful Tearful. I had one when I was little
The hair part looks so satisfying to me.
Fun fact the lady putting the hair in is my mum
Even though dolls are a bit creepy to me this is extremely fascinating to say the least.
Same bro I wouldn't get sleep even looking at these
"How do you do? I'm Doctor Dolittle."
So cool 🎩

So cute!

A very good likeness of Rex Harrison on the Dr. Dolittle doll.
Love how that guy is sculpting clay while wearing a tie
Creepy. But the girls ( and many little boys) who played with such dolls are great grandparents.
We are grandparents, not great yet. This video is from 1968.

Plot twist: the dolls at the beginning were possessed
IT 'S HUMANS YOU SHOULD BE FRIGHTENED NOT DOLLS.
@@ΝικοςΧαραλαμπους-γ8ο unless the dolls got possessed with demon or something else and that’s a true story happened to my cousin 🥲💔

So interesting how they sew in the hair.
너무 귀여워요 ❤ 아주 예전 화면인데도 인형의 퀄리티가 너무 놀라울정도로 예쁘고 좋아보여요. 금발 소녀 인형은 정말이지 하나 꼭 갖고 싶네요
Beautiful 😍. 😍

Awesome!
Reminds me of Jon Pertwee's first story.
I find it a Bit gruesome when they pop the dolls eyes in, it’s like stabbing plastic eyeballs into somebody’s eyes pretty gruesome
no way I could work there thats too weird.
Has a real 5 Nights at Freddie's appeal, huh? 🤡
The bugs bunny plush I have one of them
My dream job

They don't make cute dollies like these anymore. Dolls now have them big ol' eyes (like the crybaby dolls) and don't look cute imo
