If you need to enable a cursor to scroll down on the menus like you tried to do with enabling the wide screen you should be able to hold the Steam button and use the track pack to have a cursor come up on the screen.
Hello, I hope you can help me, I was playing with mods and everything was working correctly, but I restarted the Factory console and now the mods no longer work for me, when I use fluffy I install any mod and it no longer enters the Game, the screen stays black or the game no longer loads.
I already uninstalled Fluffy, RE2R, I reinstalled everything as it should be, the DX11_NO_RT version of RE2R and nothing, no mod works for me anymore (I tested those mods on my laptop and everything works correctly, it only doesn't work on the steam deck, it stays everything black and if I reach the minimum of the game, the game does not start)
@@XcidisI use GE-Proton8-32, Modmanager.exe works and opens perfectly, what does not work is when I install a mod and try to open the Game, It does 2 things 1- The screen goes black without reaching the game menu, 2 -Does not enter the game
@@depredador2531I think I had this problem how I fixed was I usually have my fluffy manager on my sd card on a folder it wasn’t working , so I moved the exe a fresh exe to a new folder , make sure you remove the old fluffy manager from steam and add the new one , if that doesn’t work you can try moving all your stuff out of the sd card reformat the ad card then put everything back
so ive got an issue not where its crashing but the mod just isn't working i only moved the dinput8 file from the fixed camera mod and i followed your tutorial on how to install reframework, still nothing btw i did downgrade to the dx11 non raytracing version to make sure the mod works and i have Ge Proton 9
So reframework doesn’t work ? Does the menu pop up when you start the game up if it doesn’t you entered the “dinput8”=“native,builtin” in the right spot in the spot , and did you enable the the fixed camera angle mod in fluffy mod manager ?
@@Xcidis it doesn’t pop up and yes the mod is enabled and should be properly installed As for the dinput command it was hard to tell where exactly to type it out or if It matters But when I typed it, it had an orange color next to the command and was the only command to do so and after I saved it it was green Idk if that’s just how the software works or not but I feel if somethings wrong it’s gotta be there I’m just not sure where to put it
Yes that’s your issue make sure it’s blue when you open the user.reg file you will see numbers on the left go to 893 this should be software/wine/dlloverrides this is where it should be you will see a list of blue dlls commands enter “donut8”=“native,builtin” inside this list then save then you should be good 👍 easy way to find the number to match the right game , you can download protontricks in the discover store allow it access to your sd card and when you launch proton tricks and you will see numbers next to the name of the games , go to your .local/steam/steamapps/compatdata , hopefully that works 🎉

Xcidis Hey dude, I've been following your guides, but I ran into an issue that I can't get past and I'm hoping that you can help. So, I have everything downloaded but every time I boot up RE2r on my deck, that first pop up window for "REframework initialization" appears then never goes away. It doesn't respond to any input via touch screen or otherwise either and the window persists even when playing the game. I've tried five different GE-Protons as well, including the latest version and the one you recommended in this video. Please help, if possible! lol
Try and erase the compat data and the shader data there’s a decky plugin that allows you to do this easily from your steam menu if your saying multiple ge proton layers aren’t working this must be a issue regarding shaders or some corruption try that if that doesn’t work , maybe try reinstalling the game then trying the process over or last result is removing all important data then reformatting then putting everything back then try again Linux can be wish washy sometimes

@@depredador2531have you changed the compatibility layer ? Proton experimental breaks mods
