In France we have a radio channel called "Nostalgie" (nostalgy duh), it's a corporate thrustfuck that blast 20 comerecials per hour but when it's not trying to brainwash us with crappy advertisments, it plays cool songs from the 70s to the 90s, usually pop things or great chansonniers (writers performers of their own songs) of these eras. It's cool and all, I relate with some stuff that plays, mostly because of the musical heriatge that current synthwave, mallsoft and future funk, sample. But my mother, damn she loves it, all her youth on one radio channel, pure nostalgia at the door of her ears... In France we have a radio channel called "Nostalgie" (nostalgy duh), it's a corporate thrustfuck that blast 20 comerecials per hour but when it's not trying to brainwash us with crappy advertisments, it plays cool songs from the 70s to the 90s, usually pop things or great chansonniers (writers performers of their own songs) of these eras. It's cool and all, I relate with some stuff that plays, mostly because of the musical heriatge that current synthwave, mallsoft and future funk, sample. But my mother, damn she loves it, all her youth on one radio channel, pure nostalgia at the door of her ears...
Anyway, when I'll get to my 40 and over, I want a nostalgic radio channel too, blasting my favourite safe and soothing songs of my youth... minus the horendous adds please !
