Thanks for the video, My grandson and I just started buying Hot Wheels and beginning to build a track like Die Cast racing. Now its time to make the display. again thank you
Love this. I think I am going to make one just like this and do something a lot of collectors consider blasphemous and open and display my cars and trucks.
Rivera, once work but after looking at you putting your trucks in all I can think of is why not add a sheet of plexiglass on the front to keep the dust out. Anyhow. Nice work and hopefully I'll get off my a55 soon to make me a couple of those lol!
Wow dude, that is the nicest display I have seen yet. The Plastic ones are far to expensive and even the mirrored back ones still look tacky to me. Now your wooden case is what I call CLASS man. I have wanted to build on just like it. I am going to learn from Rivera's Plan. Very cool. That looks dang sweet. Thanks for the upload.
Congratulations❗ Admitting it is the 1st step. You ARE a hoarder! . . . . . . & so am I! & there's abso-frikkin'-lutely NO hope❕😔 A lil' . . . "trucky" . . . are we? (As in,batty,as in,truck crazy, get it❔)😚 Always a good idea to have some extra room all around,& make the compartments a little bigger,so anything can fit anywhere, without having to be crammed in. & you gotta have a protective cover,to keep grabby hands from getting at the cars!🙌☺ What about the little baby foot at the end??🤔
Edgar, I have a suggestion for you if you don't mind. When you make the grooves/knotches you should consider making it in a way that the back of the plywood, covers the grooves/knotches. In other words, consider making the planks a little bigger, so that when you interlock the planks, the grooves/knotches can be covered up with the back of the plywood to give it more of a clean look. Just a suggestion carnal. Peace Out!
like the set up. do not have many hotwheels yet,byt i like collecting, vans, pickups and muscle cars. if i find the time to make one,i think mabye i will use mirror on the back,so i can se the whole car... just a tip :) like your pickup collection. we do not all those models in norway.... :(
Randy Cruz - thanks. It's been a lot of help that's why I built a cabinet for it. But I'm outgrowing it because I got into building other display ideas and I need to add more power tools to it. Might make a video on it one day. Maybe beginning of next year.
I work for Home Depot and just bought a Skil wormdrive table saw, I also have a 12" double bevel sliding miter saw, and an 18v cordless 7 1/4 sliding miter saw..Going to be selling my 12" Dewalt Miter Saw soon
See that little hole at 4:08 to the left of the table saw. I use a router under there. I want to add a jigsaw under there also. I might add a skill saw under there also. I love woodworking.
I left the option out of putting a face frame to this new design. I can add strips to the frame that can cover the grooves. It'll look way more legit than the 1st one. That's the Beauty of woodworking, the possibilities are endless! Thanks for watching 👍🏽
I love your collection man and great DIY for display case....but do you have any idea how can mount hot wheels on wooden canvas so that it dont fall when i mount hotwheels on canvas frame...
Hey man nuce builds. I really enjoy your videos. I made a shelf close to yours but I wanna paint it white. Do you think the real rider wheels will stick to the paint?
That’s a good question. If I were to paint these, I would prep the wood surface and use some good paint (not cheap paint) however the main concern I will have would be the room temperature. In the summer, it gets really hot in my room. Should the heat make the paint stick to the real ride wheels? Perhaps clear coating the white paint with some clear gloss? I believe there shouldn’t be an issue with the clear.
Best video. I loved seeing how it came together, and your thought process too. ot looks too nice brother. you did an amazing job. I particularly like the video description and the disclaimer...👍👍
My friend you got some very awesome trucks and I like the way you have your setup of your trucks. This is Frank Ortiz from San Antonio Texas. I was going to ask you where are you from what state. So I can send you some trucks
bKLyN1112 . - I did A LOT of trades and buys on Instagram. I don't have Instagram anymore so I don't know what's going on there. Also, check eBay. Search hot wheels trucks. Before hot wheels, wood working was my main hobby. I’ve made a lot of things for the house. When I got into Hot Wheels again now older, I’ve always wanted to make a display shelf like this. This video is old. I don’t have these shelves anymore. I made Bigger ones!
Displays can be customized to desired needs. I like individual compartments. I don’t like open strips with hot wheels lined up back to back. I sold this display. I made 3 bigger ones😬
If I needed to get in touch with you for info and guidance cause I'm starting to modify with my son and just beginning how do I do so sir if you don't mind
Love it! "My name is Riveria and I'm a hoarder" Ain't we all?
Lol

Rivera's Hot Wheels can I have two of the trucks
Pretty cool set up.
Nice work.😎
I built a shelf out of furring strips. It's really cheap but the strips are sometimes warped.

Geez, I missed this vid. I commented on your other shelf video. Great job, brutha. You could make some green selling these.
This is awesome I want to do this for my son
Coooool! Good luck 👍🏽
At the very beginning of this vidio @ 4 seconds u show a black truck with a white top and red wheels! Its sick!
AWESOME collection
nice work thanks for showing us
I like the 1st display case I think the slots cutting on the sides of the Wood makes the case look flimsy'
I left the option out of putting a face frame to this new design. I can add strips to the frame that can cover the grooves. It'll look way more legit than the 1st one. That's the Beauty of woodworking, the possibilities are endless! Thanks for watching 👍🏽
Just subbed to your channel as I just started to collect Hot wheels. Only collect trucks like yourself and VW’s. Thanks for the display case info
This is cool great job
I love your collection man and great DIY for display case....but do you have any idea how can mount hot wheels on wooden canvas so that it dont fall when i mount hotwheels on canvas frame...
They don’t fall. As long as the frame is even, they will not fall.

Amazing cars! So cool!!!
cool video bro thanx for sharing
Thanks Irvgreen 👍🏽
have you thought about spraying it to make it look more cool
Yes. But I have a lot of loose trucks everywhere as soon as I was done with it, I just wanted to hang it and start loading it 😅
Please ignore my question on your biggest build video I just found it in your channel lineup. Again thanks
Awesome dude
My friend you got some very awesome trucks and I like the way you have your setup of your trucks. This is Frank Ortiz from San Antonio Texas. I was going to ask you where are you from what state. So I can send you some trucks
Hello Frank. I live in California.

Man I want to make one now. I already spent a lot of money on them plano's haha minus well should had bought a table saw LOL
Hwc_Pancake - that's funny. But hey, nothing wrong with those Plano cases. As long as you can display all your favorite hot wheels 👍🏽

Thanks. I shipped a big one to Michigan and it was $120 just for shipping 😬
Hey Rivera do you have measurements for that display case. I'm thinking of making one. Are the compartments 1" x 1"?
hello what is the measurement for a hot wheels height and width? thank you in advance nice work
Where do you find all these trucks i'm just starting my hot wheels truck collection any recommendations on where to find them?

@@RiverasHotWheels nice, video was very good. like you've done it a hundred times

Muy buena... saludo desde Argentina!
Where do you get these kind of hot wheels
I’ve been collecting them for years. Now all are most likely available to get from eBay and/or resellers
Hey Rivera , do you sale those display cases that you make ?
Locally only
What state are you in?
hey where did you get the green dodge ram truck
backonlover900 Allen - probably at a Hot Wheels show or a trade. Not sure
I might of missed it, did you mention the width?
I don’t recall the width. 28” I think. These are long gone. I made Bigger ones
Can i get a custom 83 chevy done just tell me what you need
Send me an email
edgarrivera078@gmail.com
nice
where do you get you trucks????
I made A LOT of trades on Instagram and buy others at Hot Wheels shows.
👍👍👍👍👍
hi dude like display could you send me the mesurment of your display i like to make one
On my humble opinion those racks look better if you let them open not like in individual boxes is like jail for hot wheels
