    I love that you take risks and are confident to face the peer pressure of the microlocs community. It's partially under your influence that i started with retwisting my hair. Experimentation is progress and at the end of the day it's hair and you knew what you were doing. Thanks for being one the free minds of the community

      Hey A. kims👋🏽...I so appreciate your words of positivity and admired that you felt inspired to retwist because of me. Do you like retwisting? And yea I know the backlash will be here but it doesn’t bother me none and I pay it no mind. I record these videos so open minded micro loc’d lovely’s like yourself can see different options when it comes to having small locs and execute your own true “loc freedom”. Thanks for always showing love hun! 1️⃣🖤🥱⛓⛓⛓

    Your hair is soooooo thick and healthy looking. Whatever you’re doing…it works! BTW I used the water proof glue on a few of my braid locs that were not cooperating and guess what? It WORKED! Keep trucking…

    I loved hearing about your background and knowledge of the crazy glue chemical!!!! I think that was key and also I had a hunch that you where aware of the bonding and breaking process by how little you actually used it on your hair!! I’m totally with you on doing what works for you!!! Love watching your videos! Stay Blessed

    Your hair looks great. I can’t believe you can go so long without a rety. If I did that my hair would be a disaster cuz it grows so fast. Also just because you maintain your own hair doesn’t mean they aren’t sisterlocks. I have been rety-ing my own hair for awhile now. I did take the sisterlocks retightening class so I knew how to retighten my own pattern

    • @LaZy3LocD
      @LaZy3LocD  3 года назад +1

      Hey SE 👋🏽 thank you 😊and yes the long stretch without a retie kind of unintentionally happened lol...glad it did though because now my whole outlook and approach on my hair has changed. And good for you in taking the retightning course. Investing in yourself to be able to self maintain your own locs is never a bad thing 😊

    I’m glad I found your video. My hair is pretty long for baby locs. Had em since March and I’m a DIYer. I have so much unraveling on the ends and braiding would take forever. I’m gonna twist and glue. Can’t wait to get it done.

    Hello thanks for the vidéo. Love this technic but can you tell me why you glue the whole? Why just leave it and wait for it to lock?

    • @LaZy3LocD
      @LaZy3LocD  Год назад

      Hi Ms. Microlocks Life👋🏽…sure, so I use the glue because I retwist using a 2 strand retwist. My hair is also very thick and I stretch my reties for months at a time. If I didn’t use the glue the twist would just unravel. The glue keeps the retwist In place until it begins to loc, and then at that point the glue is already breaking down and sluffing off. Hope this answers your question!☺️💕

    I have never heard of putting superglue into locs. How does that affect combing them out? Would one simply have to cut them out?

    • @1991-present

      I don't think she has intention of combing them out. Does anyone?

    • @LaZy3LocD
      @LaZy3LocD  3 года назад +2

      Hey Wanda 👋🏽, so like @MissShey said, I personally have no intention of combing out my locs, but from how I’m seeing the glue react on my locs the glue actually flakes off after sometime, so I would assume once this happens I could still pick out the locs after that point if I desired...Just a guess though.

    • @SE-gs6gd
      @SE-gs6gd 3 года назад +3

      Why would you comb out your locks (not sure why you’d put a cyanoacrylate resin in your hair either but…). If you’re asking this question you probably shouldn’t cultivate locs or have them because you will never be happy with them imo

    • @wandametcalf3031
      @wandametcalf3031 3 года назад +3

      @@SE-gs6gd Hi. That's a great question! Up until recently I was put off of locs because I thought that they were permanent and that when you wanted to try something new you had to cut them off. I have seen other videos where others have combed them out. To explain their reasons it all boiled down to them wanting to have change (think a hair cut). Either way i am not afraid of a different look. I have been weaved,relaxed and natural(5x's with big chops) and even in between at times. I love learning about my hair. I think it would be worth the journey. No one stays the same. We are forever evolving. Stay blessed.

      @@1991-present Hello. Some people do. Up until recently I didn't think that you could just comb them out. I was of the belief that you simply had to cut them and start over. Some people want change. We are forever evolving. Stay blessed.

    Does the glue eventually peel off after a few washes? I'm thinking I may do this for my locs but I don't want to glue to remain there permanently.

    • @Lauren-nr1wk
      @Lauren-nr1wk 3 года назад

      Just watch the rest of your video. I was also reading the comment that mentioned medical / skin glue. I'd prefer to use that too which I'm sure would be much safer. I'm doing my starter locs very small so I need a way to maintain them without interlocking. I'm just researching all of this before I start installing. Thank you for sharing!!

    • @LaZy3LocD
      @LaZy3LocD  3 года назад +1

      Hey Lauren!👋🏽, thanks for watching the video until the end hun. To answer your first question, the glue doesn’t remain there permanently and and does wash off after a few washes. And I’m actually in the process now of using the liquid bandage now so I’ll be giving an update on this experience in a future video. But good for you in researching and being open to options on your soon to be microlocs journey! 1️⃣🖤🥱⛓⛓
