Dude just gotta say that you are the only reason I passed calculus back in high school and university. I could never focus or take in the information in class.... but I would never worry when a test was coming up, becase I knew I could count on patrickJMT to properly teach me the subject at hand. You are a great teacher. Cheers
what happens to the pressure term of the weight of the water? ig to cancel the atmospheric pressures, but isn't there the weight pressure of the water at 2 which isn't there at 1?
ohh if anyone else is confused: it's because the pressure at the hole is not the pressure from the weight of the water; you can see this by imaging yourself sitting at that hole, you couldn't push against anything to hold that water above, as there is no surface underneath (and the atmospheric pressure cancels anyway, so taht couldn't hold it either), So pressure from the weight of the water is not acting on the hole.

thanks for the kind words, much appreciation :)
Yes... you helped me pass calculus and I’m currently taking fluid mechanics... I’ll pay you back someday.

those don't seem to get much views when it's not finals season
none of these videos go viral but i don't expect them too. these can't compete with uncle roger's fried rice videos.
