    Thank you so much! This is an amazing channel, In my physics book there is only one example for this equation and my teacher always put external questions on the exams so I came here to see this video and its really helpful!

    i think the relation of velocity and area something like this
    Given:
    mass
    we can consider mass is conserved
    acceleration
    area
    density
    Solution:
    F=m*a
    Pressure= F/Area
    Velocity= √(2*Pressure/Density)

    So... it appears that a butterfly valve defies the continuity equation. Now, I am assuming, of course, that it doesn't, but I'm not sure why. If I put a butterfly valve on a pipe, I can regulate the volume flow in the pipe. As I slowly close the the butterfly valve, the volume flow rate decreases on the downstream side of the valve. It seems that slowly closing a butterfly valve is basically equivalent to decreasing the diameter of the pipe, so I would expect a higher speed but an equivalent volume flow rate. Where is my understanding skewed?

    why did you convert the value of R1 in question No.3 part b and u said before that if the units of R on the both side are same we shouldnt change the unit from cm to m

    • @user-fb2xq4xk9p
      @user-fb2xq4xk9p 3 года назад +1

      becuz now only have 1 R not two . We don't convert it if the r on both sides becuz thier units can be cut off . but now only have 1R so we need to change it

  • @finless9525

    Sir, is it okay to not convert 4cm and 8 cm into meter? It was in number 3 letter A. Thank u

    • @christinemudimu6819
      @christinemudimu6819 2 года назад

      Yes it is okay not to convert..the units will cancel each other and we are just left with the m/s for the speed😊
