    I've been happy playing BallisticNG since I've got mine a few days ago.
    If you miss the original Wipeout on playstation, this is for you!

    I have the 64g model and a 512g evo sd card. with 36 games on my card I am set for a while. I luv my beefy baby. I am also playing 6 game that are currently listed as incompatible with no problems except changing to a different proton.

      That’s awesome! Yeah, I was hoping to get the point across that people can still play the incompatible games.

      @@Cam1an First thing for me was some emulation stuff so PS2, Wii U etc. Then I went for a lot of games from last 10 years or so like sleeping dogs, Red faction, Saboteur and mercenaries 2 amongst others also thrown a load of the best indie games on the machine Cult of the lamb, Nobody saves the world, serial cleaners and many others. The reason I went down this route is because I wanted games for on the go, the ones that suit handheld gaming the most and i have a 3090 PC build for the big games i want the most graphics from. I installed a 512gb card too and have not touched the internal memory for games yet as I want to keep it running as fast as possible. All in all its amazing and does everything I wanted and more throw Gamepass cloud and ubisoft connect on too. Highly recommend to anyone to throw a load of Indie games on the machine especially things like stardew or top down shooters as this is where the machine is better than anything else.

    Got the 64GB model and have a 1TB sky Hynix 2230 ssd waiting to put in it. Super excited. Paid $589. Also didn't want the anti glare etched screen because I wanted to be able to choose between glossy and anti glare anytime I wanted to with screen protectors.

    5:25 they're not "knock off companies", they're legit companies selling expensive handhelds. i get that they failed to become popular enough for mainstream (i would never buy one, i could barely afford my steam deck), but they've succeeded enough at staying in business with the customers that are willing to pay for those
    a "knock off" is when somebody makes a cheaper imitation of another product at lower-quality (and maybe lies to customers), and that's obviously not the case here

      True, knock off wasn’t the right term I should’ve used there. They came long before the Steam Deck, but it’s incredibly impressive what Steam has been able to do with their devices while keeping it affordable.

      I came to the comments to say the same lol. I have a OneXPlayer and there’s nothing knock off about it. Definitely too expensive though now that the Steam Deck is out and performs pretty much the same.

    I wouldn’t call the companies making handheld PCs “knockoff companies” lol. I have a OneXPlayer and it’s pretty sweet. Just got a Steam Deck and hoping it’ll live up to the hype as well, but these other companies aren’t knocking off anything lol.

    I already have a Steam Deck (256 GB model). In fact I watched this video and wrote this comment on my Deck. It's a really cool device, and I've really been enjoying it these past about two months I've had it so far. Valve did a fantastic job!

    Can you truly call them knock-offs when they predate the Steam Deck by several years?

  • @777Thibs
    @777Thibs 2 года назад +1

    Can you stream ark? I was interested in playing an older MMORPG, Secret World Legends, and discovered that regardless of whether it was deck-ok I could stream it from my PC. I would just need to keep my PC turned on when I leave for work, and hotspot my phone.

    • @IronPointTech
      @IronPointTech  2 года назад

      Are you talking remote play from your Steam Deck?

    • @777Thibs
      @777Thibs 2 года назад

      @@IronPointTech yes. The one problem that I encountered is resolution and aspect ratio. My PC has an ultrawide monitor, so the deck streamed game is displayed with black bars at the top and bottom of the display.
