I was born in England but Asian and in my culture women do braids (without fake hair added) even tho they usually do two braids still counts as braids so therefore not cultural appropriation as it’s also apart of my culture. I watch you from Palm Springs. Trust me, you will rethink your entire makeup routine living in the desert ESPECIALLY with a mask on top of it. I used to do a full face before living here, and now it's just a little concealer, and maybe some eye makeup...but when it's 120 degrees out, or humid, I slap on sunscreen and call it a day. Also, take really good care of your skin, since moving here from San Francisco my skin has dried out so much and I don't even go into the sun very much. You'll see living in the desert that it's very easy to stay indoors to avoid the heat (which makes you fatter, I found out the hard way), but it also does a number on your skin so moisturize, stay out of the sun, sunscreen moisturize moisturize moisturize because if the sun isn't drying your skin out, then the constant air conditioning is drying your skin out. ✌
