Being originally out as a pup in NYC many years ago I always enjoy hearing other's stories, and I found this one really appealing. The way you told the story, Kinsey, the language drew me in. I related to walking in the Village in the light feathery snow with christmas lights twinkling, I can remember doing that! And I particularly loved how you described the difference between being in a men's or generic queer bar and a women's bar - specificity is important. I totally agree. As a gay man I always enjoy hearing lesbian's experiences, as I have always been very conscious of how few lesbian spaces there are comparatively! I remember going with a lesbian friend to one of the men's bars on Christopher and some men being really rude to her. Thanks for sharing a piece of your story with us!

First night in NYC you went to the Whitney? I like you already!
Great interview & she is adorable!
Great! I'm a new Yorker and will visit these spaces based on her recommendation. Great interview
