There's a 16$ Bluetooth receiver called (wicked reach) it's very Small and works exactly the same....power it with a usb charging cable from a cigarette lighter or a power oulet on newer cars, been doing this for 10 years + it works the same for home audio you just use a Y splitter 👍
$8 blutooth dongles that blug into the aux port work fine... if the headunit has a surus xm or cd changer input uou can get an adpter that uses that input and turns on and off with the radio ( i have 3 old single dins from the early 2ks with them and they are the best option outside of just getting a newer unit
I didn't want to mess it up that bad. But now I can drill as many holes into the MDF as want to. And when ever I remove this, I'll only have to putty 6 holes in the drywall underneath.
Telling all the secrets lol. With longer aux ext cable you might be able to hide more of it going toward the back then u-turning coming back toward the front hiding the excess.
Can you use both the headphone jack AND the RCA's at the same time? If so, could you also use this device to use the factory head unit without having to deal with line output converters?
Very good comment. Very good product review. Looking towards an update on this possibility. I have a 2007 Lexus is350. Aftermarket radio causes problems with climate controls. I added Bluetooth via transmitter but looking to add rca for minimal cost. Initially looked for a harness adapter to swap out own cd changer for aftermarket single din. But no luck. This might be a possibility to adding a sub while keeping AC. Thanks for all the excellent videos. New sub and always looking for new videos from you.
technically what is the sound quality difference between 300 ohms and common 32Ohms headphone , what benefit does the extra ressistance value provide? in the big loudspeaker world the resistances are going down, its difficult to even find many 16 Ohms driver set these days
High fidelity headphones often have high impedance because it allows for better sound quality by enabling tighter control over the driver, minimizing distortion, and potentially providing more detail in the audio reproduction, especially when paired with a high-quality amplifier capable of delivering the necessary power to drive the higher impedance; essentially, the higher resistance allows for more precise sound control with less interference from the amplifier itself.
But I doesn't have the same amount of I/O as this one does. Only one input and output. It's really kind of expensive compared to what's out there for only $20 bucks.
@@BudgetBassHead No wires need cut... no AUX or input needed on the factory head unit. it broadcasts its own little FM station around your car... the really cool thing i did once with mine... i was having a 4th of July cook out. when ppl pulled up we would have them leave the radio on tuned to my modulators channel. then all the cars at the party were playing the same music. another cool thing it does is, i worked on the road alot. 2 trucks full of guys sometimes in the country so far there was no phone and no radio BUT! as long as the other truck stayed right behind us they could listen to my music if they had their radio tuned to my station.
@@BudgetBassHead Yes... i typed like a paragraph about an FM modulator i use... then it was gone. i opened incognito mode and came to the video. comment gone and it's still not there. i didn't put links or bad language in the comment so i don't know why it would have gotten censored. but yeah it was deleted for sure. its not just on your channel. i've noticed my comments missing on other channels too.
To solve a similar problem I use a Fiio BTR5 headphone amplifier. While its more expensive ($105) it has more useful features for in car use and is much more compact. The Btr5 has a microphone built in so it can turn the stereo into a hands free phone answering system. It also has a car mode that turns it on and off with the car so that it pairs automatically just as a factory car bluetooth system does. There is also an app that gives you full control of call and main audio volumes as well as an 11 band equalizer. It has an internal antenna so it can be placed anywhere.

Nice. I know the FM Bluetooth transmitter trick. But i wonder if it works on a 1979 Pontiac Unit.

Good job, ur buddy is definitely sentimental! Lucky it wasn't a pull-out deck
I'm glad he got to keep it!
My favorite headset is the Crusher 360...not much compares to them
We like what we like!
What AC to DC converter are you using?
Decent I appreciate your videos
Thanks for watching!
I dig your soundboard. I would hate to paint over the black drywall 😂

Even though the title is misleading, thenkd for the info.
It shouldn't say 'ANY'. It should be 'some' old radio's.
look at my comment above... my method is ANY FM radio.
Great video 📹 👍🏿 👏🏾 👌🏿
Glad you liked it!
I think I missed how you are powering the BT (headphone) amplifier...?
The amplifier is powered by 5 volts/micro_USB.

That's a great idea. Thanks for the feedback.

Not sure about using them at the same time.

You can just buy a UGREEN Bluetooth Aux Adapter V5.3 for like US$ 10

FM modulator Bluetooth search that. it will send phone audio to ANY radio
Thanks for the tip
