Was pleased to see you moved the pilot to the back seat where he should be. But Was disappointed watching the hasty lurch into the air on takeoff. Learn to control the airplane on the ground and do scale takeoffs. It's so much more enjoyable. I have built several quarter scales, a third scale from scratch on floats and wheels, and now fly the real thing on floats and wheels. Wonderful airplane no matter the scale.
Very nice plane, I should have had a Zenoah for my Beaver too, the DLE 30cc is hard to tune and "sputters" alot. Mosquitos are bad here too, very distracting when flying.
Nice plane but come on its a quarter scale CUB it should be super easy to land! He needs to slow down then use power to control his descent rate instead of diving in. BTW what is that runway material? Uneven but it looks very nice.
Do you believe the engine runs cool enough, I would think you should open the prop shaft hole to about 1 1/2 in for more cooling better performance and engine life.
1 quit blipin the throttle. 2 slow the throws down. 3pull back on the throttle 4 use the rudder on landing. 5 refer to #2 and try flying it like a scale acft that she is.
Need to practice flying more... Let it slow up before you turn on final. Throttle off. Control attitude only with power adjustment and elevator... your going much to fast for a cub.

Hi Sir. The video is 10 years old. We do a bit better now😊 But its all fun with friends.

Gotta love the J-3. I think you did GREAT! 35-40 degrees in the summer? Right now it's 104 degrees here in Indiana. Can I come visit you guys?
Danke für die Antwort. Dachte da ist ein 20cc verbaut.
Gruß Markus
Kempe bra! :-)
Nice plane, nice recording!

nice plane....but hey why dont you guys try to level your runway?
Cool
i'd like to know why everybody holds a combustion plane between the legs before fly...i really wanna know that, i fly eletrics... for a while...
Huh? No struts/supports under the wings?
How cold does it have to get for you to NOT fly?
Nice! what are the prop dimensions?
16/6 på denne
Wie hast du den Motor eingebaut und die Motorhaube angepasst?
würde mich freuen wenn du mir einige Bilder schicken kannst.
Gruß Robert
Markus Greuss hi the engine came with the plane. it is an bnf modell. with 26cc zenoah.
easy to fly,or not??
Can i use it for elecktrik?
Thanks allot.
Ronald
The Netherlands.
easy and fun. yeah electric is possible
thanks allot and happy flying
Never mind my last comment I see you put him where he belonged lol
Nice bird, you gotta work on those landings.
What is the engine installed?
Your scale pilot should be in the back seat.
Ah check I was too early, they got on eventually :) Never mind!
You must have tolerant neighbours to fly that thing at 10.45pm at night!! :)

Maiden flights are not allways scale and beautiful and the pilot is not a pro. But thank you for the comment
learn how to forward slip to landing...and/or a flatter pitch prop...cubs land slooooooow.
That pilot dont look very comfortable lol.try a smaller one
Just does not look rite without the wing struts!!! I wouldn't go looping or rolling without them unless you want the wings to get together!!!
Way to fast for a piper

Poor aircraft!!! But then you didn't build it either.
bad landing)
