FYI, Piper J-3 Cubs don't have flaps. Nice addition though. ❤

So sad this hobby has all but given up on glow fueled planes. The quality of the models is low, availibity is low, options are low. The stuff you can find is $$$ for what it is. Kits are almost non-existent. Everyone seems just fine paying $500 and up for any reasonable sized FOAM aircraft. Electric is kind. Coming back to the hobby after 6 to 7 years off, it's just 'plane' depressing for those who grew up on glow. Purchased two beautiful OS FS 4 strokes, and now I see just what a challenge it will be to come up with two planes to put them in. Had the hobby really gone to FOAM and electric for the most part, and just us 50+ crowd are the has-beens of the hobby? Uhg. I hope not.

Your so right. Now just foam junk and no one knows how to build anything. Glow engines are only used by a select few now.

I still have a soft spot for 4 stroke glow engines but overall they are messy, vibrate despite prop balancing and can be unreliable and hard to start

@@alanholloway1264 OMG, the best time I ever had in this hobby was when I switched to 4 stroke, O.S.! They started every single time, almost never quit! It was a true game changer. Omega fuel (the pink stuff) 15% 4 stroke fuel! Winning combo. Glad we see gassers still killing it in the hobby! Those big beasts are awesome!

Just got one and it appears quite well built for an arf. Plan on OS 70 surpass. Should be a relaxing fun flyer.

Mine is almost done. Looking great. Saito 150 4 stroke glow to haul it around. Why do to specs say '8 channel radio minimum required' ??? I'm using a DX6 with a channel to spare! 1 for throttle, 1 for rudder, 1 for elevators, 1 for ailerons via a Y harness, and 1 for flaps via a Y harness. That leaves me one for dropping C-4...errr.........candy.... What would they have me be doing with EIGHT channels???

Thomas Waldorf // seems pretty mellow to me, I like the music very much, its calming and goes w the mood of the airplane.
