This is so good. I saw them when I was 12 years old with the Misfits in 1997. It was the craziest shit I've seen in my life when it comes to performance. Misfits played after GWAR so everyone was sliding around the floor beating the literal shit out of each other the entire time. Good times.
I saw that show in Seattle, with REO Speed Dealer and the Voodoo Glow Skulls opening for them. I even bought one of the minis from their Rumble in Antarctica game. Legendary show.
I saw that show in Cincinnati and when the misfits came on everyone left and went out back to hang out with gwar, who all then dipped out to another bar and invited everyone to join.
I avoided Gwar for years due to their ridiculous costumes and my assumptions. I learned late after Brockies death that they were super talented and had some hysterical and fantastic tracks. One of my greatest regrets is not getting into these guys sooner and seeing them perform live. One of my top artists on my Spotify.
I really love Gwar and glad they continue on today even though they lost a great man like Dave and Bishop is just as funny.They have always treated me like family when I see each member.Long live Gwar my hometown Band!!

Also, enjoy your interviews with all the rappers. I don't know who they are, my kids do, but it so fun to see their genuine appreciation towards you as you roll out the deep dive research you do.
