I skate one time with my boyfriend (wen I have it) he inspired me to go 45 km and also do downhill faster than never or ever will do, now I just want to skate 32 km on a race and hope to be on the top 30 of 200
There's water at the Berlin marathon, but only once (? Not sure I remember this correctly, might also be bananas just once?) or at any rate not often enough for me, so I bring my own bottle. I didn't need a loo when I did Berlin, but at my first marathon I drank too much (for fear of getting dehydrated), so I wasted 15 minutes looking for one 😁. Loved it that Janice asked that question! Btw. why doesn't she do it on quads?
Hey, I want to try the micro mt plus. But I can't find a german shop. Does someone know where I can get them? In the official shop they only have the scooters.
Thank you for this. I bought some Rollerblade Twister edge 3D to skate the Salt Lake Marathon, but I found out they only do a 10k skate. I’m gonna do it anyway.
When I was in my late 20s/early 30s, I used to skate up to 30 miles at a time. I'm now 64, and I wanted to restart. My skates were Rollerblade Lightning skates, with 4 wheels. Recently, I ordered the Twister 110 (because I wanted the red!) and when they arrived, they were far too tight. I had ordered the 11/11.5 US when my foot measured about 29 cm. I sent them back today. Now I need to order a skate. I'm wondering if I should go with 4 wheels again, after all. I will skate mostly on roads, in bicycle lanes. Not quite as nice as where you're skating here most of the time. What skate would you recommend that I look at? I'm not worried about money. My concern is finding a skate I can handle, and build back up to the distances I used to do. (I bicycle up to 50 miles at a time right now, but I feel skating will get me fitter than I am.) Thank you. I have been watching many of your videos. You and your wife are very entertaining, and I am learning things at the same time!
Oh, I should have said that the reason I need new skates is when I took the Lightnings out of the closet, they practically disintegrated just from picking them up. That's how old they are. The plastic seriously just shattered into many pieces.
I just got the 2022 Twister 110 a few days ago and love them! The first two days were very uncomfortable for me. My feet were dying within a mile. They are fine now. Plastic boots may take a while to break in. My Rollerblade Maxxum XT(4x90) took a few weeks to break in. I do wear a 2mm ankle sleeve, a liner sock, and a main sock so that I won't get blisters on my arches.
fitness skates are not really good for beginners, because it's more difficult to learn anything on them, not mentioning the question- why in hell should a beginner want to run marathon?

Oh yeah, totally. No way would anyone approach a girl whose nails didn't match her skates.
