You know what it is Aye is Jay the robot sound comes from subharmonics which comes as a result of your vocal cords flapping at two different frequencies, it requires relaxation and a lot of delicacy to get them to blend that gooooodd. Manipulating the voice and making crazy sounds King inertia is cracked (+_--)
Helium imo won by diversity and counter alone. I’ve heard those routines from inertia for the last 3 years since smoke bullet. Inertia is doing an inward bass using false dry metal style flex at the same time. I can make that sound but not control it like he does. But I can do that high pitched inward of inertia. Used to use my diaphragm a lot of the same ways doing metal vocals
Helium needs to work on his timing in the second round he went to upbeats and it didn't work to well. Inertia is like codfish 5 sounds but by God they are good sounds
Thats not exactly true, if you watch D-Lows analysis of the battle he said he was going to vote for Helium until the last 2 seconds and switched to Interia, if he voted Helium it would have went into overtime because would have been 2 - 2 as reeps voted for overtime (when he wasn't allowed to)
Do you produce music or some? you statements are right on point . As much as Helium's rhythm control. I love Inertia. His bass is unique and masterful. but if he wants a future in this game it's time to focus on new and more technical stuff. one day or another this bass won't be original and unique anymore.

I gotta give this one to Helium. I'm a lover of technique over gimmick. To me Inertia = club banger/ mainstream /radio whereas Helium = cult classic/ underground/ personal playlist. Helium showed a display Inertia displayed a show. Nothing against Inertia though because he is a beast. It's just this is a tournament to see who's the best beatboxer right? Helium brought more variety.
