I'm going to check out the documentary and dig up your book (Remember it). I abused my body all through high school and my early twenties (addictions, sleep, deprivation, bad diet and bad habits). It is a wonder that I am still functioning. Maybe it was my love of running that helped me not lose myself in that deplorable state. Need more content like this to help others rise.
Great talk, Nelson. I never really saw the point in exercise, aka moving without actually doing anything useful. Which is kind of a lame excuse, I know. Well, turns out, it is useful for heart and brain. I think I'll start to go running again. Maybe even with a backback. 🙂
Thank you - I really love this. I'd be interested in seeing more about child brain health, what can help them get interested in learning and remembering. Also, senior brain health. You also use nutrients, right? What do you use and can you interview a scientist/professional on the subject?
Who else should I try and interview?
what about someone who really needs memory tips, like a med student who's also a youtuber struggling with studies and stress?
Dr Justin Sung of iCanStudy would be a great interview.

Nelson, how would you go about recalling a lengthy string of digits in numerical order, e.g. 132 > 123 (only with many digits).
