Looking forward to getting this watch. would be interested in hearing your feedback on how easy it is to see all the golf features (and use touchscreen ) with the smaller 42mm size? Just concerned the smaller screen size might make this a challenge / or is it not that noticeable?
Been using the 42mm for a week now. I’ve not had any issues with the screen being too small to use. I have a full walkthrough using the watch releasing later today 👍
Yes I agree, I'm 70 years old with poor eye sight and that alone has seen me ordering the larger screen. The extra battery life is also a bonus - by the way my wrists are also thin so I'm waiting to see what problems I may encounter.
I have epix 2 I emailed garmin and they didn't know . But other reviews state it will be done in a few months, I think it will as they are identical watches
Hi Good video.....i currently have the s12 and no other watches ...and am trying to decide between the s62 / s70 / Apple series 8 / Epix Gen2 .....still can not decide.....i golf about 120-150 rounds a year.... I want something that can be used as a good golf watch and a good everyday watch with health stats........interested in what your thoughts are on this.....thx...cheers from Vulcan Canada

What’s most important to you: battery life - any Garmin screen quality - Apple Watch, Garmin s70, epix gen 2, compatibility with your phone - Apple Watch (if you’re running android this doesn’t really matter) golf features - maybe Garmin s62,s70, epix g2, but Apple Watches do everything you need price - Apple Watch, s62 Hope that helps
Great spot! My guess is they want to give the 42mm the appearance of being significantly smaller, so the smaller top button that blends in with the watch more probably helps
Not for a few weeks at least, need to give it a good test on the course, more than just the 9 holes I’ve played so far. But I will have a complete walkthrough video coming in the next few days 👍
Frustratingly no. I have asked Garmin PR, who confirmed it's only available in white or grey, and they couldn't confirm if there are any plans to bring the 42mm version out in black.
Great question...I don't think it's killed the Marq 2 as this is still quite plasticky in comparison and has a smaller battery...however, I do think a lot of people who would consider getting a Marq 2 will get this instead.

I didn’t have to many issue with the app when I’ve used it previously. The hole screens look a bit basic, but I wouldn’t let it put me off. I’ve certainly used ALOT worse apps for golf watches. But it could well be due a refresh.
I second that. Mainly the stats are horrible compared to arcos and shotscope. The app seems to be a bit of an afterthought which is a shame because the watches are so good. I might even consider selling my s62 because of it

My wrist is 7inches, so pretty small. I’ve been sent the 42mm to review and for me I much prefer this size compared to the 47mm s62 I reviewed

Why is the top button on the 47mm black watch red and sticks way out but on the other two versions the buttons are normal? Just wondering!!

In relation to Gamin Pay , I set up a Revolut account and I can use it on my Garmin watch as Garmin pay doesn’t support my other bank
Thanks for sharing that. Yes there were a fair few of smaller UK banks like Revolt that support it, but only 1 of the major banks last time I checked

Not with Garmin, you’ll have to sell second hand. S62 seems to be going for around £200 at the moment on eBay

Same here. Sometimes you want more accurate distances and shot planning like 18birdies. You can’t even see where you are on the app
