If I close my eyes, it's like Solid Snake is telling me about X-Men and 10 year old me couldn't be more thrilled.
They should have let Halle do that how she wanted. ☺️
Kept ya waiting, huh?
Huh, I wonder how Halle sounded originally with the accent.
Joss Whedon wrote it? Something about that is funny to me.
I heard that originally Toad was suppose to have actual lines and would taunt his victims by saying “do you know what happens to a toad before etc etc” followed by some punchline before he executed them. The line Storm says was suppose to throw Toads like back at him and the “same thing that happens to everything else” was meant to be said in a very careless and casual manner not as serious as Halle said if but I don’t blame Halle one bit, a combination of terrible editing and general filmmaking mistakes matched with Whedons quippy corny dialogue is what led to such a disastrous sounding line.
really? trying to blame it on her accent. no, the problem is its a stupid line. plain and simple.
