Yay ,really helpful ! I have a doubt how can we find the shuttles, is it available at exit of terminal 1 or the bus they have mentioned actually represents the shuttles ?
And u showed the way to get taxi,bus,exit in one side and train station way in different side can we reach the train station even in the way of taxi,bus,exit because i heard that the db is present straight opposite to the exit of the terminal 1
Bus Shuttles are available directly outside Exit of terminal 1 B . When you come out of the gate don’t go outside to the Exit towards bus/taxi.Just inside the terminal you have option to take the underground trains.
DB Train station is inside terminal and not outside the exit of terminal 1😊👍🏻

For taking the luggage trolly, no coin system for the first time. If i don't have any card how i unlock the luggage trolly without card?
It’s cashless so to use the trolley card is required for payment or Google pay option is also available. 😊👍🏻

Please download Deutsche Bahn app and Flixbus app.These 2 apps would make your travel easy within Germany.
From airport you can take train to Bayreuth hbf with one change in Nuremberg but that’s I guess expensive if you compare to Flixbus.

But there no direct flight of air India to Berlin
As they allow 3 bags to students so if I’ll fly to Frankfurt so can I take all my bags in the train to Berlin or what charges they’ll take to take the bag

I think with three bags, it will be more convenient for you to travel by train..it doesn’t take more than 3-4 hours..
Going by flight is also an option..However in that case you will be charged for excess baggage..

If the airport is within Germany, it should not be a problem even when it’s not Frankfurt Airport

Hey..yes..there is underground train station at Frankfurt Airport..if your long distance is from Frankfurt Main Station, you can take a train from Airport to Main Station without coming out of the airport..

Yes..I would suggest to keep a gap of atleast 3 hrs..in your case 10-10.30 should be fine..

Hi Qunyar..if you have Schengen visa..then it would not be problem for you to meet someone or even out of the airport..
If you don’t have Schengen visa, this is not possible..hope this answers your questions 😊

If I book a ticket now and god forbid but the flight gets delayed or the immigration process or baggage takes a longer time (Basically I miss the train) then..??? Booking a train after arriving costs more?? or the same as it costs now for advance booking ??

It depends on which cities in Germany and no of people traveling ..if you are traveling big cities..then you don’t need to carry much cash..as you should be able to use card at most places..if you are traveling in small cities..then it’s recommended to carry more cash with you..I suggest you to apply for a travel card with your bank in India..
