Efence is an electronic artist from Germany. His music is influenced by 80s scifi and space movies, games and shows. Its filled with nostalgic sounds of the 80s, cyberpunk vibes and retro synths from the future. In September 2017 Efence released his debut album called Lost Future.

While many synthwave creators lean toward increasingly elaborate percussion and dense compositions, Efence allows every note and beat to be meaningful. Many of these experiences are genuinely surprising and immersive, and though a late-album collapse mars its overall quality, Lost Future stands as a gem of modern space synth."

This is the first synthwave I've heard that sounds like it's own fully realized thing instead of pretty good dabbling inside of a structure. It doesn't get lost within itself or a concept of what it should be. Great job on this. I really enjoyed it. You have a gift and I hope you keep creating =)

Look, Efence. I don't want to sound like a weirdo, but your music has made a positive impact in my life. You might not understand this, but even though it's spacey and synth-y, there's also something "happy" and "effortless" about your music that not many musicians can create. You're an artist.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YEARS FOR THIS ALBUM. I forgot your alias and forgot the name of the album and all the songs... All I remember was the feeling I had listening to this.
I feel so much relief finding this... I was worried I never would.
I suppose the starting track is ironic in this case. I sat and thought so deeply to restore old memories and somehow remembered "Efence"
