Have you seen the hexagon pop up card. I am thinking this is right up your alley. I saw a card made using this technique on Dena Rekow's recent video of birthday cards she received {May 23rd video}. I am so impressed with your precise videos and attention to detail, I would love to see you do a version of this card. Thanks for all your wonderful videos. Stampin up had a hexagon box die, I'm going to try and improvise.
Such a cool card, Kathy - I had to check it out! I will study it, but it looks pretty complicated! Perhaps a pop-up die was used? I'll keep it in mind!
So I went online a couple weeks ago and found out a place where the paddle that holds your paper while you are heat embossing is part of an embossing station made by Totally Tiffany
I searched your blog and couldn't locate a link to your Amazon favorites. is it posted on one of your videos? Thank you for sharing all your storage tips!
@@ThePaperPixie I was able to place my order for all the storage items. This will be a great help as I'm in the midst of creating & organizing my new craft room. Thank you, Sara
@@mijke2140 No, there was a lot of thunder and lightening. I love a good steady rain, though. The phrase, "Rainy night in Georgia", is actually the name of a #1 R&B song released in '69, '70 by Brook Benton, and recorded by many others in the '70's including Ray Charles.
Hi Colleen! Great question! Unfortunately the clip board I have came from a heat tool holder that I purchased on Etsy and the shop is no longer open, so I can't point you to a specific place. I know Totally Tiffany has a heat embossing station and you may be able to find others! Amazon also has mini cutting boards and mini clip boards you can use, but they won't be painted white or have the clip attached like mine. I'm still searching for an option I can share!
Hi Colleen -- have you tried checking at Hobby Lobby in their wood crafts department and then Gorilla-gluing on a clothes pin. Or a big box store that sells home/kitchen products (cutting board, cheese board, etc.).
Hi Julie from Cedartown Ga! I love watching your videos, not just for the project but all the little tips you give us. Totally off the topic of this project but I'm wondering what the best way to lay your pads down. Is it best to stack them with the lid up or flip them over so the label would down? I have been keeping the label part up except for my momento black. I flip it over so the lid is at the bottom. Just wondering if there's a deference.
Hi Denise! Thank you so much! Our ink pads are designed so the ink pad is upside down inside the case to keep the ink at the surface, so you should be storing the Stampin' Up! ink pads with the label facing up. For the non-Stampin' Up! ink pads, like Memento, I store them upside down.
Q: Hi Julie, I’m watching the replay from Plantersville Alabama. I agree, I really love the Abigail Rose Collection. I have so many ideas of what I want to do with this collection. I also want to tell you that I absolutely love watching your videos and I’m very interested in what your video setup looks like. I’m getting ready to start videoing myself and am on the fence with a couple things. I enjoy your crisp look to your videos and thought I wonder what you like. Maybe sometime you could give us a tour of your studio.
Hi Sharon! I would love to say all I do is just craft now, but running a business is so much more than that! There are lots of behind-the-scenes systems I have in place to best support my customers and team members, so there’s a lot of work that comes with that. But it’s nice to not have to juggle another full-time job on top of my business! ❤️
#replay Missed the live tonight for the first time in a very long time! Love the projects, they are lovely as always. I'm intrigued by that gift card pocket die set.
Q: Hi Julie I'm watching the replay from The Netherlands. And I have a question: You can only use airtable on the pc, so I cannot use it since I'm 24/7 in bed and I only use my phone. Is there a similar program that can be used on the phone?
Hi Mijke! I use AirTable on my phone - they have an app, but I'm not sure if you can set up tables that way. I don't have any other recommendations for you as I only have experience with AirTable. You could look into EverNote?
Thank you so much Julie!

It sounds very romantic "a rainy night in Georgia', but I'm sure it wasn't. 😄
