The Santa Clause has become a massive saga! What began as a simple story of an ordinary man becoming Santa Claus and learning to become a father has evolved into a Christmas epic filled with time travel, a vast magical Yule-verse, and a collection of explanations around the magic and meaning of the holiday. And now that Scott Calvin’s tale has become so vast, I think it’s finally time to piece everything together, and fully explain the festive and insane Santa Clause timeline.

The Santa Clause Franchise is the best! i especially loved the Santa Clauses miniseries, seeing Tim Allen as well as all the other original actors reprise their roles after nearly 2 decades was such a treat!!!
I thought that series was great. It really hit the holiday spot.
It was a really good series! I love how it explained so many things we always wondered. I just wish that Neil, Laura and Lucy made an appearance because they felt missed for sure.

@thelco1 Where's Lucas ? , Why was Noel not in any of the previous films and just pops up here as the new main elf and is also riding with Santa when he never needed a co pilot elf before ? Why does Simon's body not change when he becomes Santa including his hair turning white and growing longer along with a beard and a big belly ? Why do Scott's kids despite being the children of two human parents suddenly have magic powers ? Why does Charlie no longer want to be Santa when he had a great relationship with his father the current Santa and those who live at the North Pole? Even when he went through his rebellious teen phase he still loved being at the North Pole. Seems they just didn't want another white Santa which is fine but at least choose an actor who's more fitting and has more star power.
I never thought I’d see the day that a Tim Allen comedy would become one of the greatest fantasy lore epic sagas that just happened to be a set in Christmas movie! That’s really awesome when you get right down to it!
I know it's kind of wild that this franchise exists!

yeah people were like the elves are so unemotional about the last santa dying when david krumholtz in an interview last year before the santa clauses show ever came out was asked about santa dying and he said it was never even implied santa died. he said santa disappeared but we never see him die.
Yeah so it's very likely that he was transported somewhere
Can we all agree the best part of this franchise is the elves? The kids playing them are amazing! Especially Betty. I love Betty! XD
I do enjoy Bernard a great deal. He's very cool! I think I like Santa and Charlie the most though. And Neil has the best sweaters.

I love this franchise. It's part of my childhood.
I kind of wish we got to see Laura Neil and Lucy in the Santa Clauses miniseries because I think it would have been cool seeing Lucy as an adult as I think it would have been a nice to see Liliana Mumy in a live action role again
Luckily, it's been renewed for Season 2. So, maybe we'll get to see more next year.

Feels great to have Tim Allen play his role as the Santa Clause again. Really missed those glory days he used to do.

I have yet to watch the newest feature. But I love how wholesome and down to earth the first two movies are. The third is not my favorite. The family gets closer than ever because of Scott becoming Santa. They are great classics for any family to enjoy!

The third is a good film, the segment where Scott loses his santa powers is one of my favorites of the series. You should give it a rewatch and try to enjoy it.

I have the first one on VHS tape!! I love watching the movies growing up, on Disney Channel. I think I saw them in theaters too. I only watched the series, the first 2 episodes so far because I do not have Disney +. I love Charlie's Mom and stepfather and Lucy who know about Scott being Santa.

Haven't seen the mini series (yet), but the movie trilogy is absolutely, hands down, one of my favorite holiday traditions.
The first movie is obviously the best. Second is ok. Third is pretty good, too.

I've been a huge fan of the Santa Clause movies since the very beginning. I have been Santa Claus for many children at my church and now their children. I just love the Santa Claus trilogy. When I heard Disney was going to make it into a television series for their network, I thought it was just another money making plot. I had no intentions of watching the show. They would, no doubt, ruin the whole story. Oh Boy!!! was I wrong. I'm looking forward to watching, and if possible, purchasing the series on DVD someday. Thank you for posting this video explaining how things all fit together.

I miss the old Santa beard they used. The one for the TV show just doesn't look the same.
I understand that people sometimes forgot about the magic of Christmas, but know this, everyone.
Santa Claus was always there for all of us and he will be there for you, too, as long as we continue to believe in him and the magic of Christmas.
And if Santa is reading this comment, i just want to say thank you for everything and your teachings of goodness and kindness, and all i want for Christmas was some toy soldiers that look like the ones from the Santa Clause 2 but only 6 inches tall, in a quantity of 12, you know like a collection. I just like the way the toy soldiers looked like in the franchise and i also want some real Flubber like from the 1997 movie starring Robin Williams. I know this might be crazy, but i liked the Flubber substance in the movie because it is a cute little green bouncing shapeshifting blob of goo. And that is all i want to have for this year's Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone, and God bless us everyone.

So re-watching the santa clause, it got to a part where Charlie said he was going into the family business, and after seeing him in the series, I was like "No my boy, no you are not." XD
I still think Charlie would make a great Santa Claus
I wished Charlie married his girlfriend from the 2nd and 3rd movie. And for Charlie to become Santa, while his girlfriend becomes Mrs. Claus.

I like to think that Lucy is in college and doing great and maybe Laira and Scott are off enjoying retirement. Maybe taking nice vacations together.

One thing that constantly irritates me in the third movie is that, since Scott never became Santa -hence, Charlie never got the magical snow globe- Lucy's fascination with snow globes would have never happened.
Can you talk about Cars and Soul. Do cars have Soul or do they just have memories from the people's souls and does Sally. The one who was an attorney in LA living life in the Fast Lane. But never really felt happy

@Isaac Carlson I have a question see If u can answer in 2012 rise of the guardians were shown all of them in Jamie bed room Him waking up seeing everybody except Jack Frost for now pretty much establishing that only people that believe in the Guardian can see them but what about the “dog “ Name abbey? That obviously sees the Easter bunny in the room to chase him is that mean animals either can or have to believe in magic legendary figures or if by some magic All animals in the face you can’t see them either way still?

I loved the show, but I didn't like the implication that the rest of his family gave up their desires for his job again, even if the stakes were so great. If there is a Season 2 I would like to see a compromise in that regard

Question.....the new show says that if the spirit of Christmas is gone, the elves disappear. In Santa Clause 3, Frost destroyed the spirit of Christmas. Why did he still have elves?

Realistically, if Santa's workshop does exist it would in northern Russia 🇷🇺 right at the edge of the arctic ocean up in the mountains........ but imagine if both the arctic and antarctic circles are covered in pitch black darkness of clouds where the circles can't get any sunlight or moonlight at all and it stays that way for all year for a few decades, plus a blizzard the size and power of a hurricane comes from Russia and sweeps across the arctic ocean and through Canada down to Texas and through Mississippi and up to New York and to Greenland and it happens every year........ but another global ice iceage won't happen until 3100 a.d.
