Another one of my faves. I , too, love the solitude and quiet of the desert. I go every summer to the southwest in the U.S. to find quiet places to camp.
Hello Andrew, like always a great video with fantastic pictures. I love the way you do your trips, always respecting the people, there way of living and the nature. i am waiting like always for the next, doesn't matter if from Africa, America, Australia or elsewhere....
love your style mate, thanks ! .....closest people an hour away !!!! HA ! your in Australia now I've been 3 days on a direct route and not seen anyone, try the road to Nhulunbuy into Arnhem land you see straight across the Never Never, Absolutely stunning.
Wonderful episode! The cave, the camp site, the animals. I only hope I can have the opportunity to travel over-seas someday. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
I didn't realize you come the the USA once a year. I enjoyed your last series in the USA with the camper 4x4. I live in the USA. I did a coast-to-coast trip on my own a little over a year ago, I camped the whole way aside from visiting family and friends. It was an amazing experience that I hope to be able to do again at least once more in my life. If you ever get a chance to visit Telluride, Colorado be sure to take it! It was my favorite stop on my trip. National forest camping, amazing trails to the tops of mountains with breathtaking views, a quaint downtown area, and overland rigs galore on the weekend.
As expected ... beautiful in all the aspects (well ... sorry ... not your hair ... hahahaha) ... you just took a week's stress away from my head! Thank you very much! Look forward for next video! Wonderful adventures, keep up !! Abraços
Very inspiring video. Good advice re. firewood-collection. Seems like Safari-Drive have dealt with many of the concerns I raised about 4x4 rental (see previous video). Interesting story on satellite phones; I usually bring one with me from the UK. One time when I picked up a rental vehicle the company owner looked at the phone sceptically as I loaded it into the truck. "What's that for?" he asked. "Just in case." I replied. "Well, who are you going to call if you get in trouble?" "YOU, I replied. After all, it's your truck!"
I've commented before about your having to turn the audio up and down when watching your showing and I wanted to let you know that I no longer have to do that. These last uploads have all been great!
Andrew in a recent video you sold your new Landcruiser due to a variety of issues, however in this video which would have been prior to your new purchase you are driving a twin cab Landcruiser. How did this handle and how much additional weight was in your design in the cruiser you sold.
This LC was a dual cab with a might camper and tent on top. Standard springs. The camper would weight twice to three times what was carried here. It would have handled it, no problem. But there would have been a cost to performance, and I didn't want to risk the expense, and end up with a poor performer.
Gosh, those are nice big bottles of beer! Lekker!
your videos just keep getting better. Thanks for doing them.
Excellent again. Agree about the firewood gathering, Andrew. Small fire is all one needs.

Fascinating adventure of the caves ,thanks.

Most of Africa, by comparison, is over-crowded.
You inspire us, thank you for your awesome work @4xoverland

My pleasure. BTW. I live in Australia and I visit the USA every year to shoot a series.

Awesome travel adventures!!!
Amazing scenery, especially the quietness that I am sure is out being so far away from any civilization!
audio mixing issue from 9:12 to 9:22, awesome video .. keep up your great work
what's that noise in the background around 7:40 ?
stunning

Interesting fact on that "Black line" i'll have to read about that. We see that a lot in the Southwest U.S.
Those big beers 😂
Great video. FYI audio issues at 9:11
Thanks. Bloody Adobe Premier! Not bad enough to replace the video.
I've been to Xai Xai. Really neat little village. Sad I could only say hello in their language.
will be in The Nyae Nyae in April, when were you there
Another great video, I see why you gave up on the double cab, the one in this video seems to be a bit overweight in the rear with a little sag.
Andrew, will you fly your drone in this series as it would be beautiful to see the landscape and sunset from a bird's eye view...?
The drone does become part of the story. Keep watching.

Hi Andrew! wonderful videos! May I ask what's the BGM around 23 minute?
Big Grey Mammal? Elephant.
4xOverland sorry, I mean what is the background music around 23minute?
It is Khowarib Schluct Andrew - phonetically Kho-va-rib ;) But otherwise a great production. Thanks Mate!
