On my patreon page, I began to explain the processes and secrets of my work. Topics already covered:
    1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
    2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
    3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
    4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
    5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
    6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
    7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
    8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
    9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.

@@lass_isolet Damascus steel patterns are formed by welding two kinds of steel (usually a high carbon or stainless steel) in a folding and twisting manner.
There are many different techniques that can be used to form a Damascus steel pattern however all will in some way involve welding several layers of steel to form one single piece, this single piece will then hold the unique Damascus steel pattern as the finished product.

Lotta people don’t realize that that method of pressing still draws the material out, but simultaneously *compacts* and strengthens it at the same time, rather than just spreading it thin.

The smaller spokes on the knife are the slightly off angled ones and the larger spokes are the ones that aligned with the blades plane. Idk why some of the spokes are bent all funny but that might be because of the center metal was slightly more malleable than the outer metal and so it deformed more during the smithing process.

Think that is the most beautiful blade I have ever seen. You and your nation are in my prayers. The sunflower is our state flower in Kansas and those growing beneath my bird feeders are blooming. Wish our leadership had the courage yours has shown. Slava Ukraine.
