I think it's weird that people keep on wanting to ban guns when the issue lies elsewhere. Yep, with the tavern brawl you get a card back if you didn't get last month's card back... even if it shows you the pack animation, apparently - according to blizz CS. Just had this issue on Wednesday, I won a tavern brawl game and had a pack, then went and did a dungeon run daily quest and didn't get another pack. Apparently this was the reason why, it just glitched out and showed me as having gotten a pack. Small indie game company, everyone.

I can confirm getting a card back instead of packs, it's description also didn't match being from a brawl.
also 8:20 attack with stealthed rhino was lethal. Would have buffed your hyena :)

This Tavern Brawl would have been great if they’d given Paladin a suckier list, like “Sound the Bells” buff Pally, Secret Pally, or even Prince Liam Pally, which would never see any play otherwise.
Every single class had some kind of bad deck type, or at least a really bad version of a relatively good one, except Paladin, who just had straight up Even Pally, so everyone just played that, because it’s a ladder deck.

7:50 How did he miss lethal? I didn't get it, he couldn't smash the kodo into any of his opponent's taunts cause it would have died and the hyena wouldn't have had charge anymore to go face. Help, i feel dumb.
NVM, got it. Hyena/penguin into tirion, scaleworm + wings into lich king, kodo + weapon face.
Domenico Quadara if he took penguin instead of lifesteal the trades would have been the same but he would have had mana left over to equip the weapon and swing face for lethal.
Im kinda a casual in hearthstone so i rly enjoyed the brawl because i didnt play any of those cards :D

My first game in this brawl was also hunter vs paladin and I won by playing the control game. I played Emeriss on turn 9 (with the coin) and drew King crush on that same turn, I then stabilized on 7hp by having massive taunts like the dragon that does 2 damage aoe (blanking on name) and the new taunt that gains plus 1 attack if you are holding a dragon (both were in my hand when I played emeriss). I then used build a beast to silence tirion and used candleshot of lich king (he had played equality with him on board). I was able to play king crush when he had an empty board. It was an amazing win. Especially since when I stabilized he was on full HP.

OMG... that Warrior is so terrible. He attacks your minion with an Arcanite Reaper? If you follow his plays and cards, he would have had lethal @ 11:57 if he just ignored the minions.

Kripp since Hunter seems to obviously be your weakest class I'd suggest picking up some of the newer spell hunter decks or something similar and play some more. Even if it looks weird you should've played death knight at 3:58. The hero power is so valuable that if your opponent plays proactively you'll easily out-value them and if they play actively then you can use your hero power to try to get answers or gain a huge value lead while still being able to use the other cards. Surely it's still arguable, but as a Hunter main I thought that it was quite an obvious play. Then again you can't really know the real value of the death knight card in a certain situation if you don't really play the class that much so it's gucci.

The deck recipe for Rogue is complete ass. It gets stomped by literally every other recipe, most of them have extremely high power level cards. A lot of them just have neutral legendaries thrown in, like the Lich King. Rogue gets Face Collector and a bunch of shitty echo cards. It's just a tavern brawl, but I don't think anyone really even tries to balance these things.
RN Gesus Confirmation Bias, I destroyed the hell out of people with Rogue.
Paladin gets even paladin which sucks compared to normal aggro or odd paladin and hunter gets the most inconsistent deck in the game,that being dragon hunter,which is inconsistent because scaleworm and wyrmguard are not also dragons
