I have always found Dave's songwriting so sensual. The way he seems to write in stream of consciousness and the way the band just backs up the lyrics beautifully with their music...its amazing and there is so much longing and desperation in their performances. Greatest, most talented and tight band I have ever heard.

I have not seen them since 2007, just before Roi passed away and I heard the LAST FULL BAND VERSION OF SAY GOODBYE EVER at Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre in Irvine California...Was truly amazing!! I haven’t seen another DMB show since Leroi passed and I probably never will. I want to remember them the way that they were when they had Roi and even creepy Boyd...oh the good old days...anyway, just wanted to say again, that DMB is MY favorite band EVER, and will go down as one of the greatest band to ever grace the music industry!! May be the best live performers out there!! Hands down, period, end of story... take care everyone, and be good to each other!! 😊

So my best friend since we were 13 is a guy .. we were in early 20s when this song was big...we listened...we decided to take it's advice after hearing everyone says for years that we belong together.. neither of us was single .. anyway... We are now both happily married to other people and about to turn 47 and still friends 🙂 anytime this song comes on we share a secret ....thanks Dave ♥️
They definitely put on the best show I've ever seen. They play for the crowd every single time I've seen them in concert. And I've been lucky enough to see them five times.

Haven't listened to this in a while and Carter/Leroi at the beginning just gave me chills. Also listen carefully at the beginning and you can here Dave palm muting some crazy strums that I never noticed until today.

I was at the Charlotte and Charlottesville (Saturday) concerts, but if they were going to make a LT cd out of either of those concerts it would definately be Charlottesville. Saturday night was the best Dave show I've ever been to (with the exception of the Concert for Virginia Tech.). Charlotte was a good concert to. Loved Rapunzel. Mmmmmm Dave.
