I’ve browsed the different covers of Moonlit Night and it’s safe to say this is the type of cover i’ve been looking for. No improvisations, all (well, mostly) spot on. Really love it.
Wow, thank you so much!!
Hallo Vanessa, das ist fantastisch. Super schöne Musik und unglaublich schön und gefühlvoll gespielt. LG Liam

Gorgeous Vanessa!! Congrats for your performance. Keep sharing yours amazing covers!!!
Thank you very much, Jonathan!
Hi Vanessa. I'm also a self-taught pianist. I hate to admit it, but whilst I can read sheets perfectly well, I prefer memorizing a piece from synthesia as it's far quicker. I was wondering if you're the same and if you think we should break out of this arguably bad habit 😅
Also I've heard mixed things about death parade so not sure whether or not I should watch it
Hey, it's nice to hear from someone who's self-taught too! :D
I can't read sheet music and yeah it's so much easier to learn with synthesia videos, in my opinion. I'm learning how to read sheet music right now and oh boy, it's so hard. But i think my technique will get better, as soon as i know more about theory!
How long have you been playing piano now?
And i really can recommend you to watch Death Parade.
@@nesskeyz I've been playing since December 2017. I've used sheet and synthesia together since the start. My biggest issue rn is Tempo!! What about yourself?
@@ActionAdam I've been playing for 6 years now xD I started with 6 and i could play that one piece from Amelie when i was 7. But then i stopped playing and i started to play the piano for real, when i was 12 or 13! I looove playing fast, but my problem is my fingering. I've learned the wrong technique. I have trouble with using my pinky, bcs its not that strong and I've almost never used my left middle finger when i played
@@nesskeyz Ah fair enough. I personally think your technique isn't that bad at all if you're still able to play this as beautifully as you have! :)). Thanks for the support fellow self-taught pianist!
Dear Vanessa, I hope that your week is going well !!! Beautiful playing on this great cover !!! Thanks for the musical recharge !!!! all the best. . . jeff
Thanks! :)
It's amazing that you learn mostly by ear - I definitely need to improve on that skill in the future. Sightreading has to be the focus for me now due to exams! Great playing too :)
Thank you! Wish i could read sheet music! :D Good luck on your exams!
I love this OST, and I have yet to see it be covered this great!!! Thank you!!! 👍👍
Beautiful!!! Currently learning this song and it’s inspiring to see someone else play it so beautifully!
When I saw the thumbnail and the title instantly clicked!!!! I’m still trying to learn this song it’s a little challenging but it’s so nice hearing your cover of it it sounds really beautiful I love it!!!✨
Ahhhhhh thanks! Yeah, it's a little challenging, that's right, but I'm sure you can learn it! Practice it a lot! :D
Oh my!! The chills! Death parade was a beautiful anime, I wish I could erase my memory and rewatch it, good job! I wouldn't have seen your channel if you didn't comment on mine! Glad I came

Thanks Arlette!!
Beautiful music thanks dziękuję 👍👍👍
Dziekuje bardzo, Marius!
Do you have the piano sheet? this is the best cover iv found
I don't have sheets, i learned by ear!
You are pretty good for being a self-taught. How long have you been playing? Well played 👌. This is indeed one of the best anime OSTs, and a really great anime.
Thank you! :3 I'm playing for 6 or 7 years now. Yes, it is! Ps: Hahaha great profile picture 👌🏻
@@nesskeyz haha, thanks! It's Aladdin from the anime - Magi. Oh dear, so you started quite early then. That's very good. And it is evident from your playing as well. I started around 3 years ago when I was 21. I did not practice regularly and eventually stopped. Now I am getting back to it slowly after I got a proper digital piano. Playing on a keyboard sucks; not enough keys 😬. I can't get my head around sight reading. So mostly rely on my ear and synthesia like videos, though I know it's an inefficient way to learn.. Anyways, keep playing.. I look forward to hear more from you. Self-taught pianists motivate me a lot..🙂
Hahaha i know, I'm watching Magi right now! :D Yeah, i started playing on a keyboard too, it sucked and it can make your technique real bad, but if you want to play easy pieces it's fine! Oh yes, i feel you. I can't read sheet music at all xD I always learn by ear and synthesia videos. But I'm learning a piece from Rachmaninoff right now and i have to learn how to read sheet music. It's very hard to play classical pieces by ear, because you have to learn the right fingering for the piece and you have to play very precise. I've always had the problem that I didn't use my pinky, when i played, because it's not that strong xD So it was harder for me to play classical pieces right. I hope to hear something from you sometime! Maybe you'll decide to upload your work too! :)
@@nesskeyz Glad to see another one like me 😁. Indeed, classical pieces have a lot of depth to them. Playing by ear or synthesia does not help much. When I hear Rachmaninoff, I am instantly reminded of his Prelude in G minor. Such an intense and powerful piece. I really wish to play it one day. I am currently learning Moonlight Sonata's 1st Movement. Although the piece does not seem very difficult, but playing it with dynamics, and those long stretches in right hand, especially when you have to play a ninth on the right hand at times, it takes time to work on those things. As I can only comfortably reach an eighth, playing a ninth becomes a pain. And I can relate to you pinky problem too 😂. Not sure if I will upload on youtube, but I do plan to upload on instagram/igtv, once I am back in shape and have learnt few more pieces. I do have a couple of uploads if you would like to check out; they are two years old though.😅. You can find me here: _vishal_p
@@lyrafiel76 I'm learning Prelude in C sharp minor right now! But i want to learn the one in G minor as well! Yeah i know, Moonlight Sonata isn't that easy! I saw your videos and you're very talented!!
;)
I hope u know, that I'm never gonna stop calling u Miley Cyrus ;)
@@nesskeyz lmao
Interesting interior, I saw only your hands)
What do you mean? :o
