I was at a Novelist concert yesterday evening. Camile convinced me. She is good in both clear and growl vocals.
I love the new style. Camille is Giving life to their new material!

love it or hate it but these guys are ahead of the curve. We are going to hear more and more of this kind of sound in metal.
I have been a fan of them since their first album and loved seeing how they evolved. I think she’s perfect and it’s cool because she was a guest singer before and now she’s the lead!
Keep in mind, Johnny, it's not just the one guitarist doing the solos. Flo is the original guitarist and he does a lot of them, but on the last album and these past two singles, Pierre the new guitarist also does his bit of the solo. Flo does a lot more bends and bluesy type solos, while Pierre had that almost arabic sounding solo on "Turn it Up" and the opening solo on "Smoke Signals". Really awesome dynamic between those two guys...
So glad you guys keeping covering their new stuff, it was such a bold move to switch from a male to female vocalist, and I think it's gonna pay off in spades. The new sound is so fresh and exciting, and the band's musicianship rips just as much as ever. Bummer that there will still be curmudgeons that will not like it just b/c it's "too different". Future Palace and Spiritbox are blazing trails with metalcore female vocalists and I think Camille will do the same

The humming at the end is a bit of magic in a muggle world, I believe.
The chorus sounds like the KDA League of Legends song. Absolutely strange that it reminded me of that
Camille is not a singer, is an angel...
Not even commenting on Camille at all since most everyone else is...I think the guitar work is proggy but still catchy, a hard balance to take, and that fun middle section with the disco beat was fun, and the quiet outro was interesting. I think the band just feels invigorated and creative right now and I just want them to keep pushing outside their old formula.

fuck man i really cannot get myself into her heavy vocals, and also not saying she is bad but there is something that doesn't hit me correctly yet. But i'll be damned if that entire song wasn't convincing with all the other interesting things they did. the guitar solos you expect but the interesting "gra ta ta" then drop and the quiet hymn slow end were both very captivating. i'll keep listening to the song and slowly get more and more used to it. keep going Camille

I liked this song more than the previous one, here you can see a finer and cleaner work. I see the band much more loose when it comes to composing, we'll see what else they bring us in the future.

Worst part of the song, for me. I cringe every time I hear it. To each their own, but man... I just can't with that part.
Like this one a lot more than Turn It Up, feel like her screams are a bit quiet in the mix tho
