Thanks for the great tour,.I have my first solo cruise on the Encore in a couple of months. Was offered room upgrades but declined. Being my first solo cruise, I want to experience the solo cabin area.
Awesome! Those solo room sell out fast so good you were able to get one. Yea to take advantage of the solo travelers lounge you do need a solo room so it's good that you didn't upgrade because I know many of the solo travelers spent a lot of time in that area connecting with other people. I was surprised how nice that area looked it's much different than the other stateroom areas of the ship and the way they decorated the rooms was pretty cool and modern.
cruised on the Bliss solo. met some nice people. going again in two weeks. lounge is great.

These are often more expensive than a regular cabin, even paying the single supplement.
Good to know. They are always sold out when I have looked. I did see a few that were a bit cheaper, but maybe for some people the value is in the opportunity to meet others and not so much to have a bigger room
