When I lived there in the 1960s, '70s, & '80s, it was a simple beach house. They totally renovated the inside since then. It seems a little less homey now.

(I lived in this house from 1965-1987.) I think the renovations shown here lost some of the charm of a beach house. I liked the old walkway entrance to the kitchen, the two original staircases, and the old bedrooms. But the bathrooms, windows, and kitchen needed an upgrade; I agree there.
