The Karess family lived there (late 1970s-80s) when the home was kept in its original design... Not liking the new additions nor the changes made to the interior. It was a grand home with candle cut outs in the wall next to the front stairway... Sometimes keeping the original design is what is best architecturally.
About the only thing that was half acceptable was the master bathroom vanity, steam shower, etc...minus the crystal lighting... The color of the bathroom and the mirror over the fireplace. Nice views from the bathroom. The whole house has very dark flooring which needs to be removed... well as the color palette and darkness of just about every single room.... very unappealing kitchen, claiming to be renovated. I notice a very modern house next-door is for sale as well. Possibly the cold winters or upkeep of the crashing waves has both neighbors selling? I love French country homes but not this one... One interesting thing I do like is the walkway with the deck above deck... makes a nice appearance next to the garages.

The interior is just horrid! Grounds are gorgeous tho! Burn it down and rebuild. 😄
