    The only problem I have is that the wireless on off switch is under the caps lock and I am SICK OF THIS FUCKING TREND

    • @leftcoastfunk
      @leftcoastfunk 3 месяца назад +12

      @@Coolio_Ash I'm actually a little torn by this because while yes, I also hate having to carry a keycap puller just to access the on/off, I would hate literally any kind of switch showing on the exterior of the board far more!
      My AM AFA has a pre-mapped (and unchangeable afaik) key-combo of holding Fn+Esc for a good 5 or 6 seconds to turn the wireless off and on. I think this is a great workaround that solves both issues - wish we'd see that more!

      Very common and in my experience you dont need to turn it off unless you are gonna store them for a long time, they go auto sleep , altho Ive never tried this brand it is like that with the Neo keyboards and the battery usually goes for 2 months.

    • @JayQwerty105
      @JayQwerty105 3 месяца назад

      @@jorgemeister404 Yea my keeb has an auto-sleep function that I always wonder if these types of keyboards do the same. It wouldn't be a problem for me if this is the case. The only downside is that my volume knob doesn't register as an input if the keyboard is in sleep mode so I have to press a key and then adjust the volume.

      These are boards for people that need no-nonsense on a budget, they will always stack up, even if the board they’re modelled from is superior.

    NOTE TO ALL WHO WANT TO BUY THIS.
    There's a possibility u will be getting the beta(R2) ver of this kb instead of the Reboot(RE) version that hipyo has.
    The R2 version also comes w BSUN arctic switches but it seems like they swapped it our for the jwk coco switches for the RE. Hmx remains for both as an option
    In the past months before this video dropped ppl who bought from wobkey directly have been receiving the left over stock of the R2.
    You might end up with an r2 instead of an RE that is featured here.
    My local store says the biggest major difference is the keycaps.
    But some Chinese reviewers are saying the RE is better built.

    I live in sea and we have had these for a couple months now. All I can say is that the finishing is very nice, and polished. For that price point you cant ask for more really, at least atm as the neo80 and evo80 are abit more in price. the stock stabilizers are quite good too so it should satisfy most people. The 1.2mm flex cut pcb might be why alot of people might not consider it but from my experience it doesn't have like flexes when I type so I don't notice it, especially with alu plate. One complain I do have is that the stock switches are so hard to remove and I ended up having few scatches on my plate

    I bought this keyboard recently, here are a few more thoughts:
    - I think the overall build quality is better than competitor boards
    - The Kailh cocoa switches are almost identical to Invokeys matcha latte v2 switches. They are very good, apart from a tiny bit of L-R stem wobble
    - The board is really comfortable to use, albeit a bit loud for me, and it is obviously clacky.
    - I don't know if it was just me, but it was INCREDIBLY hard to remove the switches. I used my own switch puller, the one that comes with the product is probably not good enough
    - The VIA support is really bad. Apparently the Rainy75 has the same problem, just Wobkey things I guess?
    - The customer service is also really bad. Wobkey has a pretty bad reputation for customer support.

    PS : Thanks for you videos hipyo, always great to keep up on keebs ! :D

    A lot of people are saying the EVO 80 is better than the Crush 80.
    Does anyone actually own both boards? I just want some more opinions before I decide which one to buy...
    As far as I know the main difference is the leaf spring mount on the EVO, how much better of a mount is that?

    Howdy hey Hipyo, Im in a predicament with getting a new keeb. Due to the nature of my work and a couple incidents that happened at my work, I probably cannot use a chinese made keyboard (at least not one designed AND made in China). Which sucks because practically everything is. I prefer a 75% and an aluminum chassis (or metal at least), gasket mount preferred, as well as wired only. I also will probably pick up WS Morandi switches, so anything that fits that bill would be a welcome suggestion.

    Hipyo, please go to Philippines and review the Rakk Hanan Ultra. That Keyboard prebuild is literally the cheapest Top Mount Keyboard on the market, only problem is it doesnt have screws for them despite the addition of holes for both plate and upper case to pull such thing.
