I love the sign for the shipping stadium. More of these prospective developments should advertise what they will be in a similar fashion. Many have nothing to let us - the public - know what the building is likely to be.

I agree that Durban Park should be a sports stadium for athletes training or for things like tennis badminton, etc, used to be the horse race grounds in the 60s
@@khemrajsukhram1538 In a democracy the government works for the people. You don’t seem to understand how democracy works. The politicians should be grateful that the people voted them and they should not engage in corruption. What is wrong with your thought process?

Yes, that is the Saints court of arms. I guess that is their new location after they moved from Carifester Avenue. I agree that that strip should be a sports complex of some sort. Don’t agree that a prison should be in the mix though.
Durban Park should carry a mall also together with a sports area, like the mall in New Jersey. This mall can accommodate all the street vendors who sells food and other things. Georgetown needs to be declutter
I've seen track center and sports stadium where they have the top section for vendors. There are Parcells sections/stalls that the vendors can use and lock up
When are you going to get our GoPro with Stabilization? Please do an update on the Chinese building at the back road of the Botanical gardens. Please go inside of the building if it is opened. Thanks.
The ugliness never fails to show its face and emphatically NO, you don’t need to know a minister to get land, although it never hurts, your plans need to correlate with the government vision. And that’s been going well so far!
I believe it was a metaphor, I’m not sure if you live in Guyana but typically the only way to “speed up a process” is by knowing somebody high up or bribery. I’ve seen it first hand, if you have a friend at the wharf, you can get duty free on speciality items like cars for example. Pay someone well enough at the passport office and you’ll have Guyanese citizenship within a month, its comical. There are individuals in Guyana who have been waiting for more than 10 years to get land, those individuals don’t know anybody or have the money to give out to speed up the process, its just reality, the current government is distributing more house lots now than in previous years so that’s good but there’s still a long way to go.
@@MJRUclipsrs the Guyana civil service has always been the bastion of institutionalized corruption with which the PNC controlled and destroyed the economy of Guyana in marginalizing sectors of society. not a metaphor, it’s an attempt to push a false narrative of a dystopian government regardless of the countless infrastructural projects completed or in progress. For an administration to have accomplished as much in less than 3 years (minus Covid) is in my opinion, nothing short of remarkable. The civil service under the PNC institutionalized corruption and bribery as policy and marginalized people not affiliated with the PNC. That is not the case with house lots for example, there is a huge backlog and everyone wants to get to the front of the line and the whispers proliferate, encouraged by some for their own agenda. An appropriate metaphor would be that a thief thinks everyone else is a thief as well.🤷🏽

I guess St Stanislaus has lost their original grounds on Carifesta Avenue due to the new hotel development. This seems to be a relocation of their grounds.
We were also broke when Jagdeo was voted out in 2015. They set the ministries on fire. Burnt all the records at the ministry of housing and stole the government vehicles each minister putting several taxpayers vehicles in their own names. Yep like an Olympic track we need these things
Dave Martin performing arts center!😍😍😜
Employment for maintenance across the country, every sector
Great video good job
Good initiative. A state-of-the-art stadium of international standard would be ideal
When you get to the sports hall, look to the left, in the gardens used to be water buffaloes 🐃, were introduced by the British ❤❤❤

Wouldn't surprise me if they decide to move the prison on camp street, to a new location, prime land
a football stadium was to build there
A synthetic track and stadium would be perfect for the Durban park area.
