I think this is the best seat on KLM 777-300ER. In my last flight in november of 2014 I was seating in 40K PH-BVB and 40A PH-BVD. I love 777-300ER and KLM. Amazing video!!!
Gate E20, quite a walk. My flight departed from E22 which is all the way at the end. The annoying thing is... the damn people that stand still on the moving walkways! You're faster not using them!
Luke, can I ask what video editing you use? I use windows movie maker but not happy with sound quality and i can't seem to find out how to add the klm logo to my videos. Daren
HI Daren, I'm currently using Sony Vegas Pro 12 and I use Photoshop to add the KLM logo to my video thumbnails. In this video I was also using a Nikon D5200 and a Nokia Lumia 1020 :-)
Hmm... I recommend getting a D5200, you can get one from Digitalrev for £370 with the lens and free shipping. The camera is brilliant for filming in low light conditions and is also great at taking photo's...
Nothing abroad yet... Heading through to Edinburgh tomorrow for a week as I've got work experience at Edinburgh Airport. Might be off to Dubai in April again with Emirates Airlines or Turkish Airlines. How was your trip and when your next one? :-)
jerricette Well in the US I think some of the carriers cahrge you for some meal or something..I compare KLM with Emirates,SIA and THAI..not United or American airlines
+am1966ath I have flown the past 30 years back And forth between the States and Amsterdam. First 20 years KLM only! It was 100% KLM. Now they are air France/KLM and everything is less! KLM had their own catering back then and were good. The past 10 years I hear more complaints about everything. In the US I fly mainly United and Delta. The reason why I fly United trans-Atlantic is because I pay almost 300 euro less per ticket, but the Food at united is Horrible! So I bring my own. I have been never charged For Food in America. Trans atlantic they charge nothing. In the US they don't serve Food anymore. The bedt For me is Singapore Airlines. They are the best in anything.
jerricette I have the same complaint as you...the airlines wan t to save costs and outsource catering to either LSG-SKY CHEF or GATEGOURME..I have worked for LSG...believe me the standards of catering has indeed fallen with them..today the food is at best supermarket quality of sorts if not tv-dinner..the in house bakery and the quality deliveries has stopped..the former in house catering of the big carriers used to be hotel quality..today they cut corners....on intra European flights catering has more or less vanished and been replaced by cakes and small sandwiches..even on the three hours Amsterdam-Istanbul flight...in Asia the big carriers still have their own catering companies with hotel kitchen quality..that means bakery/pastry shop and other amenities that enhances the quality and taste of the served food..back in 1978 AA had good catering especially trans-continental flights on roomy B 747s and DC 10 LAX-JFK...
am1966ath I have never flown inside Europe. I have only flown from Amsterdam to London which is only 1 hour flight. There is no catering on board for such a short flight. Back in the 80's I have flown alot from Atlanta to Orlando or Miami, which is 1hr 30 min and we had food on board. But those days are all gone. Gate gourmet makes mostly garbage, but they have carriers onder their wings and make good food, like Singapore airlines. To be honest I got tired of the peas and carrots food from Gate gourmet on American carriers. KLM use to have their own catering service, but now it is 3rd party KCS catering. I don't like that either. I just bring my own food on board wich are bread buns with marinaded chicken. 2nd round food on United airlines is a Mars bar and a bag of potato chips. No soda's. It is mostly water what they serve.
Amsterdam Schiphol is my favorite too;) i love their observation deck!
Nice, I just flew PH-BVG from Seattle-Amsterdam last week. Lovely plane. Funnily I then flew home to Glasgow on a 737-800.
I think this is the best seat on KLM 777-300ER. In my last flight in november of 2014 I was seating in 40K PH-BVB and 40A PH-BVD. I love 777-300ER and KLM. Amazing video!!!

Thank you! :-) Yeah I'm quite surprised they didn't see that one...
Great Job! Very nice video! 😉
i flew KLM in 2004 and 2005. It's not a bad airline at all and certainly outclasses North American airlines.
superb you took off from runway 18L
I'm going to Holland next Sunday and me and my dad r taking KLM!!!!
Gate E20, quite a walk. My flight departed from E22 which is all the way at the end. The annoying thing is... the damn people that stand still on the moving walkways! You're faster not using them!

Cheers Luke, I may have to invest in one. When's your next trip? Anything planned?
Nothing abroad yet... Heading through to Edinburgh tomorrow for a week as I've got work experience at Edinburgh Airport. Might be off to Dubai in April again with Emirates Airlines or Turkish Airlines. How was your trip and when your next one? :-)
it is callet super filmid!
Schipol looks like Istanbul !!
It has the same amount of Muslims as well
Are you Dutch?
as a passenger you may a klm not just in the cokpit.
what do you mean?
+Sid Hoogendijck Well you say that the cockpit visit was 'super fake'. What makes you think that?
noice
Hey du hast genau den gleichen Flug wie ich gemacht ich habe dazu auch ein flight report gemacht schau mal bei mir vorbei
KLM is a good airline with lousy Catering..Yaak..
Try any american carrier, you will understand what a lousy catering means!😎

Unpalatable music.
