i took a huge bail last season and pretty much landed on the back of my head with a minor concussion.. next season i nailed that jump, not because i wanted to, because i had to. cannot let fear overcome

Oh God I´m crying, this episode touched my feelings so bad, I had a surgery on the femur too, and I can genuinely know how hard it is to go through something like that, the desperation because of the pain and beacuase you basically can't keep the rhythm of life that you are used to, then it comes the rehabilitations = MORE pain.
Anyways...I just feel kinda connected with this video, and I feel proud of him, for his courage, braveness and because he never gave up. He said it "what´s life without a little bit of pain?"
Btw I got well too after the surgery hahaha.

Yeah I've been there. I broke my ankle from the ankle plate up, an internal fracture up the tibia, which was not visible on an x-ray. Actually, this injury took me out from ages 17-20 after 2 surgeries, I still came back hard from 20-26y/o I was landing all sorts of inverted 720's. I always wanted to get in the industry but it never came together. Eventually I did back country riding and summited Mt. Rainier and other great things. All the motivation to go pro pushed me in the right direction, even though I was never close to pro level.

Dude I feel your pain in this episode, I just bought a brand new burton process last week and rode it twice , the 3rd day I caught a weird edge and went down hard and torn the ac in my shoulder. Now I'm laid up and lost my season.

I've been there. Hopefully you are sleeping comfortably. I know the in's and out's of being laid out. I injured both my shoulders at the same time and had to have surgery on one of em'.
Just let the season go, time does fly by.
