what is scary is that there are men like that amongst us, people we see out and about, probably looks like a regular guy and he'll be abusing his own child in that way. in fact i recall the story on youtube of a woman in my town, literally 5min walk from where i live, saying that she'd leave her sons with their grandfather and he would literally pimp them out to pedo men(and it was a network of men both white and pakistani). That's after she lost custody for them after being labeled as crazy (or it was something along those lines). She knew what was going on and could not do anything, the police ignored her. How the ffff does something like that even begin? they all deserve a hammer to head.
Shane meadows is an expert at putting you in that time period, I get flash backs watching any of shanes drug scenes and I swear dead man's shoes is by far the best British movie of all time, it's flawless

He was absolutely quality in the likes of Life's Too Short and Extras, and other Ricky Gervais stuff aswell. He absolutely nails cringey acting.
