Making kestrel jesses

In this falconry video I explain how/why to make jesses for a kestrel using eyelets rather than grommits.

Falconry is the act of building a relationship of trust with a bird of prey built on respect, and then letting them fly totally free and hunt as they do in the wild. Working with any bird of prey species requires the use of specific equipment. It is vital that this equipment is utilized properly. The welfare of the bird is always paramount when it comes to making equipment.
