@@Luxembourgishhonestly weird bowser spared the moles this time. You’d think Bowser would throw them into the chasm along with the train after they ruined his castle and tried to kill him… TWICE!
@@MrJmanreythey could have been trapped inside and got crushed INSIDE the train when it fell. Might not be able to be shown but like speech bubbles as "The doors they won't open bro!" "We're stuck!" And then screaming in terror as the train falls to the bottom of chasm.
I loved the ending cutscene to the boss right after you defeat it, the way bowser picks it up victoriously and throws it on the bridge collapsing the bridge with the destroyed train falling down, bowser really hated that fawful train, the way the bridge and the train collapsed with bowser looking down on it was just menacing
Honestly, this game just looks absolutely STUNNING for a 3DS game. This is running on hardware less powerful than the GameCube, and yet models in the 3D battles are polished and sharp, animations are fluid, and everything just looks very well-made.
I can't even put into words how satisfying it was watching Bowser totally trash the Fawful Express. He was doing what we all wanted to do to it, making us, the player feel vindicated. Only downside of the remake's version is the debris don't squash the traitorous Monty Moles like they do in the original. If they make a second remake, it should include Bowser completely destroying the Fawful Express and some of the debris crushing the Monty Moles. It'd be the best of both worlds. Still, I love both versions of this.
For all of the flaws and redundancy of the 3DS remake, there's just something so satisfyingly cathartic seeing Giant Bowser chuck the Fawful Express into a ditch.
Protip: when the train goes into the giant living mountain DO NOT use maximum fire breathe. Use the weakest. it will still light it on fire and it will damage the fawful express. even if it takes longer to kill it. Just keep using the minimum as it will keep damaging the train inside making those "repairs" they made useless. (at least thats how I did it)
excellent fire breath will also damage it and render the repairs useless. There's no reason not to get excellents every time, especially with the much easier action command, instead of using the unreliable and unresponsive microphone. You're losing potential damage by not using excellents, the better your rating, the easier time you'll have with the rest of the fight.
The animation may not be nearly as expressive and fluid as the original but god is it satisfying to see that dumb train get absolutely demolished, both in the aspect that you end it by finally getting to use bowser's fists and that it ends up getting thrown into the pit that caused so much trouble for a lot of us.
Anyone else use a hairdryer to blow into the mic cuz it was too difficult for child lungs to exhale long enough to get excellent every time on the fuck you express
What a awesome fight I played through this game over a few times and got 100% on it Including all the blocks and all of the beans I've never lost a giant boss battle
On an emulator I can understand if you get ok or good on the sliding tap attacks (which you keep getting excellent) but how is it that you are only getting ok for the repeating tap attacks.
Damn, the Remake Version is much easier on "Fire" Ability than the Original Version... On Original Version your need only to blowing... Except you using a Fan on the Original Version
Bowser's 3d model looks terrible I don't understand how they couldn't make him look better considering how good he looked in dream team. I really wish they waited to do this remake it was very clearly a kneejerk reaction part of me feels like Nintendo might've been pushing them to release something
In my opinion, he looks amazing. The problem is with the animations. A lot of his animations aren’t really good, particularly his walk cycle making him look like a confused zombie. However, model-wise, he’s very high-poly and has a lot of expressive attributes.
Ben yea I don’t think they put very much effort in this remake, they should’ve just made a new Mario and Luigi game and maybe they wouldn’t have went bankrupt but they had to be lazy...
