I find that some of those imported Phillips screwdrivers benefit from grinding a bit off the very tip when new. Not much, just enough to take the rounded part down to a flat.

Hey Buddy, sorry to hear about your carport. Next time anchor it in those screws that look like large auger bits. Only way they'll come up is if the concrete comes with them. We got about 4 inches of snow Friday night, but we had that wind too and it blew the all the snow but about a half inch off our place and filled the hollers up with deep drifts. We went from 47 Friday afternoon to 7 below Saturday morning and a windchill of 30 below. We won't be above freezing until Tuesday but they claim next weekend we'll be in the 60's, LOL! Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

That was a nice frequency county, clean and the chassis paint matches the BK front silkscreen. Will be interesting to see what failed with the decimal point.

I don't know what it is with freq. counters but they seem to have a lot of defects. I have been needing a counter for years and have tried to buy one 4 times. Every one I bought off eBay turned out to be unrepairable. I got burned on every one of them. Sellers are very crafty at getting rid of junk. And I can't afford to try again.

I had a different hand piece on mine and my unit is black, it worked pretty well and had enough power for what I do most of the time, I ended up using a Jabe UD-1200 instead it was a review item and had even more power, the T12 station is now in my 2nd lab as my main iron there, so it was good enough to stay 🙂
