Those taillights are TOP NOTCH man. This is a HUGE upgrade! I wish your panels and holes line up, and no tool makes the ultimate sacrifice during the process lol Enjoy it man, it's well deserved
what an awesome setup, feels very homey inside, love it
I love seeing Aussie style coming to the states
Aussie style doesn’t mean Aussie made. These are made in China…
I love seeing your journey from the TJ up to a built Tacoma! Being from Australia I also love seeing how the US companies are taking on our canopy builds, over the next couple of years this industry is gonna boom and everyone will benefit from these hectic canopy fitouts
I know these guys from Couch Offroad, TFL from Boulder did a feature on Couch and got to borrow the gray double cab with Bilstein on the cab doors for a few months.
Those Unimog cost $300,000+
So if you can you should convince dirtbox to make a full box with there canopy camper tent on it so you could have the best of both worlds.
Was you at Moore Expo I think I saw your truck and I regret not get more information from you on it I like that I came across this
I thought I knew those Unimogs!.....TFL truck was there a while back.
Your rig is sick, anxiously waiting for that sick video where it gets dirty again!
I was really hoping this was going to be done in time for rendezvous in the ozarks this year. I learned about it from your channel and I’ll be there this weekend, was looking forward to seeing you and the truck in person. Either way, congrats and can’t wait to see the first trip with it.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised. 😎 The truck is done and I’ve been working on it for the past several days. Things on social media are always behind since it takes time to film and edit. It’ll be ready to rock and roll
Awesome! Can't wait to see how you set it up and how it performs. @@ArkansasOffroad
Duuuuuuudddddeeeee!!!! This is soooo freaking awesome!!!!
haha, nice. I bet you're STOKED. Something you can feel and smell, lol. This is gonna be so badass.
Man those freaking brake lights are dope! Where can someone find those!? Take my money!
very cool
Can't wait to see your rig at RITO!
See ya soon!
Have a 2016 4x4 tacoma
You might have said it and I just missed it but what is the dry weight of this setup? Full canopy and tray. I can't find anything on their site in the way of specs. Typically in Australia running a full canopy requires a GVM upgrade due to how much capacity is taken up by just the canopy and tray. It leaves very little room for gear and passengers. I don't think you can get a GVM upgrade in the US. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I've dreamed of running a canopy and these guys look legit.
The flatbed itself with the water tank, tool boxes, and pull out drawer, and headache rack is 505lbs. All aluminum with some steel mounts. I am unsure of the aluminum box itself. You are correct about the GVM upgrades in Australia. However, their laws are MUCH more strict about everything. I am over GVM, but keep in mind the GVM is calculated and set on all stock components...brakes, suspension, drivetrain, etc. - all of which I have upgraded. I feel safe in my truck with all of this weight. I put aluminum armor and saved weight everywhere I could. I weighted my entire setup with full fuel and Im' at 6,800lbs. My previous setup I was at 6,400lbs with the GFC camper and rear swingout bumper.
I don't want to spend more on a flatbed than the truck lol
Okay
What's a price for this set up, been looking
