@@kingshearer2 Eight years ago in 2015 he said "John Lowe's action hasn't changed for 40 years." Sadly John's action went downhill a few years before he made that comment, but I take your point.
John Lowe is the reason I started Playing darts properly. He has always been a fantastic Ambassador of darts.A Player for the World of Darts to be truly proud of
@@JasonMurphy1 you know your eyesight deteriorates as you get older right? Bones and muscles get weaker, various issues start setting in, I know a woman who’s not even 50 and has dementia, so age does matter in darts. Even the GOAT Phil Taylor says the same. As you get older you can’t keep up anymore, all the events coming thick and fast, and if he makes a worlds final he could be up there on a hot stage for 3+ hours.
That's the most unexpected and weirdest celebration I ever saw. Had to watch it back 5 times, plus 2 times at 0.25 speed, just to check I'd seen what I thought I had.

Lowe was a consumate professional. I remember his book where he discussed everything from throwing technique to the importance of diet and sleep patterns. He was meticulous in his approach and that bred success.
I think this was the vets tour, it's actually not that old. Not quite so serious as the PDC tournaments. Bobby would never have done that when these guys were playing seriously because he's never been that disrespectful
John Lowe came to Australia in 2003 I got the privilege to play him a true gentleman of darts I actually won the game 1leg 801 I left him on 272 highlight of my darts journey

Only Bobby could get a laugh out of old stone face. 😂
John lowe's smooth throwing action, still hasn't changed in 40 years ! Unbelievable talent.
Actually not true, these days his action has lost much of that smoothness, he rushes his darts now and has done for a while.
@@Wally-H i think he means as per this video but it's at least 8 years ago

him and peter manley🤣
A guy in his 60s-70s with an 11 Dart leg. Unreal.
This event was in 2008, right? Then Lowe must have been 63 years old.
a guy in this 60s-70s with a shirt that has a nip flap is more unreal

So
2 absolute legends of the game 🎯
Now that’s the kind of sportsmanship there should be.
Magic.

Brilliant darters. And what a show man Bobby was. Good times
There's no characters like these fellas anymore
Now that’s what you call sportsmanship.
Light hearted 😂
Bobby George, Britain’s answer to Mr T. Great Guy, could listen to him talk about anything.
Brilliant. Two legends of the game. That made me giggle.
John Lowe was my reason for playing darts... this was when darts was entertainment
Cracking leg from john lowe. 2002 matchplay when he gave taylor a major scare is one of my favourite matches.
Yh quality was that 👌
Bobby George: the Ric flair of darts
Brutus the barber beefcake🤣
Bobby George will always be a master, together with Eric Bristow and John Lowe
dont forget jockey wilson some of his battles with bristow where the stuff of legend......................................

11 darter at that age on stage, just absolutely class 🫡
Bobby George was the ultimate Guy Ritchie character.
Both class acts. Bet Bobby can handle his self to, looks a right hard bastard.
Your right I met big Bobby in 1988 watched him chin 2 bouncers in Birmingham, won't be another like him
@@robhardwick9559 I had heard about that night,my mate donkey dave told me. Lets hope he didn't break that beautiful bracelet.
Lowe is king. Old Stoneface rules!
I Wonder how Price would react to Snakebite doing that to him.
ボビーもジョンもかっこいい
2 legends 👌
The old guys just have more class, imagine Lewis or Price in this game.
..imagine the opposite ...can you see John Lowe putting on a covid mask and pretending to be ill .....- like that Bucket of Lard did ....😆😁
That was a great 180, but I turned blind afterwards...
Baby George and Phil Taylor are both awesome players
Great moments captured for posterity! Thanks for sharing!
I can honestly say I did not see that coming.
lowe would still probs be in todays world 32 oom ultra consistant the man
Had the privilege of playing Bobby. Smashing guy one of the best.
So john lowe hits an incredible televised 9 perfect darts using pear shaped flights now using standards absolute mind-boggling stuff
Effortlessly smooth John Lowe
Still got my John Lowe arrows. Must’ve had them decades 😄
That's when darts were darts and enjoyable old school that's me
Ah the good old days 🙂
Haha I never new about nip flap shirts I didn't expect to see that 😂Women's darts should give it a go?
FALLON SHERROCK 180 😍😂
Women throw darts ?
Brilliant.
Great guy is bobby went to one of his nights good fun
Best throwing action ever John lowe

Well that was an entertaining leg! 🙂
No wonder John Lowe never smiled, he has teeth like a burnt out fusebox.
Alan Binnie That killed me 💀😂
Hahahaha
Never heard that one!
Teeth like a bumble bee
Set of teeth like a burglar's toolbox . . .
The blurred sign gives john a funny yellow hair do!
John Lowe had the smoothest throw. Even more natural than Hankey, Scholten and Van Barneveld.

Bobby getting the 180 just before John checks out.
Pure class.

Two legends of Dart!
Bobby George is walking back from the dartboard the wrong side.
Who cares.
@@Zarkava8 it's the rules

Legends of BDO.
RIP Bobby George
He's still with us
I don't think George would've liked you saying that.
You got to love Lowe
I have to say, love the sweaty heads. Maybe that tells the story? lol
When John Lowe throws a dart, it almost seems rude if it doesn't go in the treble.
Almost but not really
I hit a 11 darter too, exact the same way. I think i'll never hit another one
12 darter I my best..18 in comps. One day!!
Great dart players
I loved John Lowe, gentleman of the game, unlike these flash gits of nowadays
Never noticed Lowe standing so far to the right on the oche.
Yeah I thought the same. Didn't think he done that in the old days.
Because of Mr Lowe ...I bought the same darts ...never as good as John though !
throwing like a brasser
Quality 😂
I asked my opponent if we could recreate this. It did not work out to well. She was not very happy
Prime John Lowe will drag Mvg and MS

In the beginning, they show Mary George. You could tell by her face, she knew of the nipple celebration to come.

Great to see John Lowe laugh
If Bobby did that to Adrian Lewis, Jackpot would probably offer him out in the car park later for putting him off. No sense of humour todays players
BDO urinated on 'pdc' from a Great height .. .
I think it was the other way around 🤔
John Lowe great guy smoke on the water
nice one!
Blinded by Gold what an ego
It's a shame that Lowe didn't hit treble 17 and not treble 20 on his 9th dart or he could have gone for a bullseye finish for 10 darts.
